@The Avenger You know I was just thinking that. Even still ranked in the top five people doubt them. OSU is something like 10-3 when considered an underdog in the last 20 years. Maybe doubting them is a good thing cuz when they were expected to win it all in 15' 16' and 17', they failed. Who knows. But you're right this smells just like the 14' season.

Klatt, lets be real putting Bama Ohio State and Oklahoma over Georgia LSU and Even Wisconsin at this point is downright criminal. Those teams to this point went out and played tough competition and won and you smack them (especially Georgia) down because they haven’t done what Bama has done by killing cupcakes (Oh wait, ALL THOSE TEAMS HAVE DONE THAT). Don’t complain about Bama’s scheduling if you intend to reward them for it. And no that doesn’t mean that Bama or any of those teams won’t be number 1 by the end, but they haven’t faced the competition to even DECIDE that.

5 years ago Michigan finished 5-7 and unranked, and had finished unranked 5 of the last 7 seasons, one of those rankings was only #24! In the last 4 years with Harbaugh, Michigan has won 10 games and finished nationally ranked 3-4 times. He has made the program part of the conversation again. He is competing for 5 star candidates and winning some of them. He has brought the program back a long way in a short time. The reality is that the path to the next level is extremely difficult. The big ten has stacked most of its power teams in one conference, making the schedule more difficult. They play 9 bowl teams this season. It seems unrealistic to expect parity with ohio state already. It took nearly a decade of recruiting superiority for ohio to get to their present advantage and it seems fair to say it will probably take as long to address that deficit. The offensive scheme is fine. Micchigan proved that if you can get the kind of line play that bama gets--clean pocket, no penalties -- then you can get the results--blowout scores. The bottom line for Michigan is the line play will determine success regardless of which offense is used. Fans with unrealistic expectations and those who fear that Michigan is on a trajectory to the top have been trying to put Harbaugh on the hotseat for two years already! Trolls are whistling in the dark. The "grownups" know that it takes time to build something of quality and are pleased with the rapid improvement that has taken place.

Wolf's Den yeah but this decade what have they really done? They get insane recruits every year and had 1 very good season under harbaugh where the media was already declaring them a dynasty. Notre dame has also been overrated but they have made the playoffs and made a natty this decade. Michigan gets better recruits though and regardless of how meh they are get talked about more than other deserving teams. Ie auburn, Wisconsin, Washington etc. This show may even talk about Michigan more than Clemson. I get the fact that they were a powerhouse in 1937 or something it’s just annoying every time klatt is on the show they get a segment.

And how many teams would have won those 4 games by 175 total points? In the last 3 games they've played Indiana, Cincinnati and Miami(oh) and Ohio state has given up 5 points per game while scoring 56 points per game. Those arent just wins, those are complete blowouts. Cincinnati and Indiana are 3-0 with all double digit wins when playing any team other than OSU this year so it's not like they are playing 0-4 new Mexico state.

I would say OSU but have to see them play really good teams. Funny tho, I thought the exact same thing about Chase Young last Saturday. Dude has been hyped since he arrived on campus, he has arrived

I mean the bulk of our schedule is coming up. We got LSU and Auburn still. Auburn is never a done deal, and LSU looks solid. I guess we will se how good they really are after those 2 games

OSU has played nobody. Indiana and the Bearcats are the 2 toughest games. I have Alabama and Clemson easily as the top 2 teams. It's the same offenses from last season. THE SAME QB's. Best WR Cores,TOP O lines, Elite RB"S and I trust Brent V. and Saban for Defense. I have nobody near those 2 until you can beat those 2.

I’m a buckeye fan, Joel are you serious? To me we look good, Defense is strong and deep. The offense is good but still growing and isn’t firing on all cylinders like the defense. After the Michigan State game we will know a lot more about how good this team is but as of now we are 4/5.

It's really annoying when they got their praising Ohio state of Wisconsin on they haven't faced top 10 teams and then put Georgia or LSU in back and acting like they're not top-tier program tonight to more of like they're close to bama and Clemson but not there and you forget like Georgia is a top-tier program where the number 1 recruiting class in 2018 in the number 2 and 2019 only behind bama

Bosa from SF is the top rated pass rusher in the entire NFL and he’s only 3 games into his career! If Young is better than that, he must be amazing.

LSU is 100% a major brand in college football. The TV numbers for LSU games are very comparable to any of those other teams, especially Texas or USC. And you say Notre Dame is one and mentioned Georgia, but UGA-ND TV ratings were down 7% from any of the LSU Alabama games that have been on prime time for what feels like forever now.

Robert Guzman and yet, LSU vs Bama was consistently a higher rated game than the LSU vs Texas game was this year. Texas has the potential to get to that point again, but right now people just don’t think of Texas when they think of major CFB teams. They certainly don’t think of USC. Bama Georgia OSU Michigan Oklahoma LSU Clemson Are all much more watched games than Texas nowadays. I bet even at 2:30 LSU vs Bama will out rate LSU vs Texas, a prime time game. No offense, Texas just isn’t what they were.

Robert Guzman the problem is by including merchandise sales you are giving Texas a massive advantage for being a flagship university in such a large state. When you are trying to gauge who the big brands are you want to look at tv numbers in big games. Like I said, LSU vs Alabama was consistently higher rated than LSU vs Texas was this year. Revenue factors in way too many things that give Texas an advantage that doesn’t reflect their current perception.

Wisconsin is good but tosu the real deal to take down Clemson and bama

Ohio State is becoming a really good team. We have to take it one game at a time. Come Oct. 26 after we play Wisconsin you will then be able to get a really good read on our Buckeyes. However, you need to pay close attention as to what is being built down in Columbus Ohio. GO BUCKS.

Harbaugh is a decent coach. Besides one NFL conference championship what has he won? If you are a great coach you need a great legacy. All I see is a coach that brings big expectations, but always falls short. How is Ohio state on Clemsons level?

1. Rutgers 2. Michagens offense 3. Klatts forehead (line is kinda weak) 4. Bo Nix 5. Jordon Scott's stomach

Cause they got all them 5stars..1 loss they would be out of it cause they schedule is weak teams like auburn and TX am could loose 2 to a good ranked teams or just win out conference play and still get in

Ohio State hasn't played anybody good enough to make them look any more impressive than Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, or LSU

Please tell me whom Alabama or Clemson has played that looked impressive to you thus far? Lsu played a okay to good UT team this panel just said ND looked better IN A LOST to GA so u can only go off games played so far my guy Clemson is literally in worst division and to add Trevor Lawrence leads the league in interceptions #FactsOnly

Ohio State hasn't had a 28-point loss yet this year like Alabama and like Alabama they haven't played much competition so why wouldn't they be up there with Alabama? At the end of the year Cincinnati will be a 10-win team. What team has Alabama played so far this year that will even come close to 10 wins?

“Wisconsin’s defense is good but they’re not 28-0 good..” Really Colin? Other than preconceived bias, what evidence are you using to base that off of? They’re number one in total defense, yards per game, scoring defense, yards per play, etc.. I get there’s a lot of season left, but they hadn’t given up a single point in almost 11 quarters of football. Can’t blame everything on Michigan - if you actually watched the game Wisconsin was putting constant pressure on the QB and Michigan completely abandoned the run game (only 40 yards allowed all game). That’s Wisconsin’s doing, not Michigan’s. Tool.

Brent MacDonald if Wisconsin played a playoff caliber team it would show they don’t have the “#1 defense” they don’t have the speed

Hate to say it, but there is a very good reason Fields didn’t start over Fromm, and it will show when they play a defense that flies around the ball. Just wait and see!! Colin could hit receivers with 3 yard cushion.

We would have told Michigan that us Bama fans were glad to move off of Josh Gattis, he would usually take credit from Mike Locksley and Dan Enos. He was a “GREAT” recruiter though.
