I love this episode so much. Joe become free from trauma finally.
One of the best series of all time. Absolute masterpiece
God I love this series, I've seen this sparring match so many times and it still leaves me with chills.

Holy crap I gotta watch this
Love this freaking show so far man I watched a little review video talking about the story of Joe but I didn't fully finish it and im so glad the video didn't spoil anything too major when I started form the beginning with rikishi and the prison arc I couldn't stop watching the anime I love how joe finally gets the courage to get over his trauma, you feel that emotionallyas the viewer . we always want joe to win all of his battles whenever he gets defeated we get defeated as an audience even more personal if you've actually done fighting sports
best anime episode ive ever watched

Nombren un duo más carismático.
Joe vs Carlos

There are statues of Joe Yabuki in various places in Japan and not surprising at all~~ :) Rivera is the friend who finally brought Joe Yabuki out of his trauma

"ROBERT NO! NO! ROBERT!"
there may are spoilers : for me Joe become free from trauma because he felt that Carlos was as strong as Rikiishi he felt then that he can hit Carlos to the temple without fearing that he could be dead of that or something bad. Joe couldn't feeling bad to hit to the temple anymore at the moment it's not like with Tiger and the others banthamweight no.1 and 2 fighters. When Joe was fighting Tiger he said that about him that he doesn't have any ressemblance with Rikiishi in terms of blood hungryness and strenght So when Joe was against people whom he found weaker than Rikiishi he could feel bad and guilty because they may got something bad if Joe hit to the head Joe become more evaluative with his opponents for me. He jauges them

He was vomiting because he was subconsciously traumatized with punching people in the head due to killing a boxer before. Carlos literally beat the trauma out of him.
