Joe Williams Interview
Dennis Hunt Interviews Jazz great vocalist Joe Williams in 1984. (THIS IS FROM THE UNEDITED ARCHIVES. SORRY FOR POOR QUALITY IN SOME SPOTS) Williams developed his essential repertoire while he was with Basie, including standards such as "Every Day (I Have the Blues)," "Five O'Clock in the Morning," "Roll 'em Pete," "Teach Me Tonight," "My Baby Upsets Me," and "The Comeback."

"...not as an American, but as a Human Being...!" Beautiful, classy guy - and my mother just loves him!

OG YaHerd so did mine! My mother loved Count Basie and Joe Williams. Let's not even mention Nat King Cole
God bless Joe Williams.
Anyone know what show this was, and who the interviewer was? I thought it was pretty cool that they used a B52's song when they went to commercial (Legal Tender).

Dennis Hunt is the name of the interviewer, maybe when you asked the question 8 yrs ago it wasn't on there but it appears someone has since added it.
