Lol. That’s fitting. Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood said something similar about Mick Jagger (but not meant in a good way; read Bill German’s book). Joe is an interesting guy/guys for sure. His audience interplay at concerts is legendary, a whole video could be made from that.

Joe is a genuine national treasure. He's a phenomenal guitarist/musician. He got crazy living the "rock star life" but he never lost his core sense of self. He's literally "Average Joe" Walsh in his soul. I also MUCH prefer him in the James Gang and his own band over the Eagles. I can't hardly even listen to the Eagles just from knowing how pompous, narcissistic, and controlling Frey and Henley were.

Joe Walsh is not only a great guitarist, he’s one of the funniest guys ever! In the eighties he used to spend a great deal of time in Chicago. He would frequently show up on The Steve Dahl and Garry Meier show. I worked at a hospital on the afternoon shift and would listen on the way in. I would be in tears when I got there. He was telling the story of how he was sitting in his limo and Richard Marx’ Don’t Mean Nothin came on and about the opening riff he says “Hey, that guys pretty good.............oh yeah, I did that”. Now, you have to imagine him saying it like he just took a nice, long toke. Lol. I’m partial to Funk 49 and Walk Away.

Joe Walsh came from one of America's great bands, The James Gang. He subsequently joined the Eagles. The Eagles were the Linda Ronstadt back up band. Sooo.... one day while shopping @ Topanga Cyn I ran into Joe. He was with some lady (perhaps his wife, maybe not?) I said "Hey Joe". I caught him in that peculiar space where he's not sure if your a friend, someone he's worked with or a fan. Instantly, I said " Hey, my condolences". He looked at me strangely confused. I said "You know, being the number one guy in the great James Gang and now sitting 3rd chair in the Linda Ronstadt back up band... and the chick quit!!! His companion turned red in the face and just before she unloaded on me, Joe burst out laughing. "Hey man", I said, "Have a great day". And walked off.

I’d never heard the very ending until recently and I’ve been listening to this song since it’s release. I had fallen asleep listening to my music. I wake up to hear WHA WHA WHA.......... I had to look at what song it was. Then researched the song to make sure it has been there the whole time. I was actually surprised. Hidden this whole time. Lol

@@Shawn-rq4py ya he stated it was a I guess shot to the industry during the time of over used wammy bars and doing alot of wha wha wha music probably disco or reggae. And I think if I remember correctly that I read it in a magazine or when I looked up the song. And I guess it's not really a shot but a tounge and cheek thing

The line "I live in Hotels, tear out the walls. I have Accountants pay for it all." is referring to Walsh, it was reported that SEVERAL of the Hotels He stayed at, had Entire walls torn out of them after He left!!! In the Live version, he changes a few lines and my Favorite is "I have a Limo, Ride in the Trunk. I lock the doors, in case I get DRUNK!". Walsh is a Joker and a HALF! Hell, He's 2 FULL Jokers!!!!!
