Considering that the point of the dance is to heal, one can argue that the joy of dancing it and watching it can bring a healing of spirit under "recreational" circumstances. After all, that is the true point of entertainment. The modern world is spirit damaging and dances like this can bring you happiness. Native culture can not thrive and will continue to die the more exclusive it is.
