this song creativity is absolutely amazinng. after 25 yrs. i still am impressed. even paul yngvwie; steve, john; al, jimi would agree. he focused his energy on creating songs with unbelievable hooks riffs AND shredding.

He plays and sounds as good live, as on his albums. His chrome boy guitar has the best tone live, i've ever heard. He deserves all credit, as a guitar legend.

Unfortunately back in 2002 that's as good as it got for webcasts. I wish this show had been released as an official DVD with full stereo sound but I'm afraid not

Paul Gilbert has nothing on Satch. Maybe speed and tricky picking with string skipping. But when it comes to phrasing and songwriting and sound, Joe is the master.

@@BrunoGarciaMusic haha yes, eleven years both wiser and older and I cannot understand why I was so interested in in comparing these two guitarists. Each to their own, but Pauls music doesnt really move me like Satchs do, theres not much I can do about that.

the legato lick at 1:14, does he pick twice from the 5 to 3 then pull off or does he pick 5 and pull of to 3 and 0, i tried it and it works with pull off but when u reach 17 and pull of to 12 and 0, the 12th note dissapears in the mix of all the stuff that is going on, the only way to make it sound is through picking twice, but the tab says pull off, anyone know?
