When I had to quit smoking pot earlier this year, when I was applying to jobs like crazy because I was out of work and had no money to do anything, I realized that one of the greatest things about marijuana is how easy it is to give it up. I've been lucky to land a really nice job since then, and I'm certainly back to smoking again, but it was great how I was able to acknowledge that I needed a job more than I needed to get high, I followed through, and I went back to it when I was gainfully employed.

If you have a low tolerance you can get way too high but if you smoke everyday it wont happen. One time I took a 2 week tolerance break then decided to get stoned at work and a lot of people noticed I was stoned out of my mind lmao.

Ego stops us, Psilocybin helped break down those barriers from trauma for me. Helps massively with Dysthymia which has all but ruined my life, can't believe all the pharma meds never helped but a simple mushroom in nature helped almost cure a basically incurable illness.

I feel like I watched 2 humans who have removed their ego as best they can and are being friendly and honest with one another.

I used to smoke every day from morning to night; smoked to go to work, smoked to eat, smoked to sleep, worked out high... Lived high pretty much. Did this for about 1-1.5 years. Having stopped for the last two years I can tell you my attention span and memory are worse than before I started smoking. I believe it is because I became accustomed to not paying attention and going with the flow while high that in everyday life now those tendencies have carried to my every day "sober" life. I zone out more, think about nothing more, don't realize when people are talking to me sometimes which never happened before.

Facts dude. I’ve been off it for a while but when I was using it, I never had to look for motivation for anything. Doing all my stuff felt good. Jobs, cardio, weights, ESPECIALLY boxing. Boxing was just the best. It’s like their was just a joy to be able to move and concentrate on every aspect of my movement. If I didn’t have to piss at work I would definitely be a daily user. One day…

I kind of miss getting that stoned, tbh, where you forget wtf you're talking about. It's uncomfortable as shit if you get that way around someone you don't know and feel like you're making an ass of yourself, but it's pretty great when you're with good friends and you can just laugh at it. That used to be like the litmus test for how good of friends I was with someone, how comfortable I could be in conversation with them when I got so high that I was just saying stupid shit and rambling on. Then I got to the point where I smoked so much everyday that I literally never got that high, no matter how good the weed was - and then in my mid 20's I stopped smoking very much, but all my friends by that point were hard drug friends and being that stoned around anybody was incredibly uncomfortable. And now, at 32, I rarely smoke, and any time I'm the least bit stoned I feel incredibly uncomfortable being around anyone for any reason, it's weird; sad, really. What used to be my greatest joy in life (and I really have no shame in saying that) now for the most part just leaves me an anxiety riddled mess. Still love watching really stupid movies when I'm that stoned, Killer Klowns From Outer Space will always be one of my favorites thanks to high grade marijuana. The one that always sucked, no matter what stage of life I was in, however, was getting so stoned that you forget where you are driving. I'd fucking 'get lost' and have an anxiety attack for 5 minutes driving to the town 20 minutes over, it was especially heinous in the dark, I could get lost on a one shot road. Still I think back on that shit and smile, though.
