He’s definitely more witty on his feet than with written material. Written material is memorized so you’re kind of locked in to the pace of the joke and delivery in order to make it work. Regular conversation tend to flow better and have more freedom to be witty .

So I train at tenth planet hq under Eddie and have to say this is so true and he is the best guy high fives and hugs every one when he walks in to coach he doesn’t even have to he has gyms all over the world but he loves it and every Sunday he comes in with his wife and son and they clean the whole gym together so while yes he gets lost on a tangent or two you could not ask for a more humble and dedicated master.
