Keep in my mind when you actually watch a fight and learn to not listen to the crowd and have any unset biases then the fight completely changes. I really don't remember enough of this fight. But going on off other recent fights where people swear the other guy won but that's only because of the crowd being in an uproar anytime they get out of a hold after being taken down, or they dodge a punch, or they throw a punch but don't even connect and the crowd still goes wild.

@@joeschmoe6908 you might but Joe is the kind of person to challenge or call people out in person whilst talking directly to them.. besides this happens all the time to anyone who actually rewatches fights rather than go off their first opinion. The first time I watched yan vs sterling 1 live I really thought yan was just absolutely destroying him then I rewatched before the second fight and it was a lot closer than I thought did the same with yan vs suga and I really think it wasn’t a bad decision

He admitted he went back and watched it again. If you watch "casually" you mostly just see Yan doing what we figured he had to do to win. Take Sean down and make it difficult on Sean to strike. Watching it closer... Sean was beating him on the feet pretty badly. Yan wasn't getting to dominate positions on the ground. They were in a lot of nearly neutral positions where they were legit grappling. It was 1 and 3 to Sean due to the damage on the feet. Only in rd 2 was the ground control of Yan worth enough significance to win the round
