    That was after justin cleaned up his technique though. Chandler probably knew he couldnt win a technical fight after seeing gaethje dismantling ferguson the way he did. If gaethje came into that fight still just a brawler chandler wouldve fought more technically. Since gaethje came into that fight the more technical guy, chandler had no choice but to be the brawler and hope for a ko. Otherwise he'd have gotten picked apart and leg kicked to death.

I think if he fought Conor at 170, it would be like when Conor fought Mendez at 145, which was an epic fight. Except if Conor gasses at 170, his punches won't have the KO power they did against Mendez and Chandler could beat him. That fight would be even money.

    J. Gaethje has definitely changed his style, he admitted it is smarter now. That said, I felt like he could've gave Khabib a better fight. He was easily outclassed and that's probably why he hadn't fought until now.

    Khabib is that good he's just an anomaly. Therefore, he's not a good metric to consider any fighter against. Arguably, Poirier did no better against Khabib than Gaethje.

    I mean, he’s #4 ranked LW and just fought for the belt. Only other match ups that would make sense other than Gaethje in top 5 are Dariush or Makachev. No easy fights when you’re ranked top 5 in the division.

    You know these two guys have similar fighting styles, both have lots of power which means the out come would be broken nose broke wrist open eye cuts, big cuts and lots of leg injuries so they shouldn't face each other, maybe if Dana would offer each one 5 million it may be wroth it but other wise they shouldn't fight for the pay they will received, it's not wroth the injuries.

I'd be genuinely surprised if this fight makes it to championship rounds though I wouldn't be disappointed as they're both warriors and I'd love to see a good back and forth but overall I feel like Chandler is just the better fighter.
