I've loved ol Joey since the 80's, I went to a benefit in the 90s and he was there, most awesome moment ever

I remember attending the taping of the live audience portion of the show at Perkin's Palace in Pasadena and, maybe a week before that, an episode of the Merv Griffin Show, where Joe was promoting the special. His wife was giving Vanity the stink eye when she was sitting a bit close to Joe during the interview segment. Back to the special, no second takes during the live part we were at, I think they kept them all. Good stuff! He also threw in a performance of Pink Cadillac, and thanked his new

Yes and no.

He was funny as in deadheat

Somehow the Govt. of Joisey or someone deep sixed the SNL 80's comedy sketch he did with sesspools of toxic waste around him eating lunch and singing "I'm from Joisey, you from Joisey?" in a hillarious braindead character. One of the funniest sketches ever...esp. if you from Joisey.

It was a real tragedy what happened to Joe P. the way he lost his ability as a comedian after having his face kidnapped by Arnold Swarzenegger's body. I felt sorry for him the way his nerd face kept crying out to be freed. In case you do want to go OJ Simpson slicing me into little bits, Joe, I'm actually my next door neighbor.
