Oh my. This song gave me jesusbumps immediately before he spoke a word. The leaving the 99 to chase down the one. That was me 2 and a half years ago I wanted to die, and begged Him to just take my life. He did! He took the old me and it died, to the new me He was creating and working on. My whole life, looking back, God was EVERYWHERE! On Jan 23 2021, I was sleeping, and I hear at 3am, 'Jill, wake up!' I immediately jumped up out of sleep, looked around my room with the light on, and the rest of the house was empty besides my mom sleeping. But she's not a guys stern voice. That was God calling me to Him. Later that day, I went to pick up my then fiance, now husband, for the weekend. The first thing out of him was 'can I show you a Christian song?' I said absolutely. I always knew God and Jesus, I just never was a Christian. I was born Catholic. Hated it. Went to foster care, and they were Christian. The very first time I went when I was 11, it shook me. I cried when they were singing the hymns. I read the entire child's Bible which back then, was not as small as they are now. Now they just get to the point with children, which sometimes doesn't teach the child the real value of Christ. Either way, I read it all in an hour. I stayed back from church one day, cause my foster mom was mad I chose to wear my jean overalls. That wasn't appropriate dressing for her. Um, then maybe she should have picked out my clothes. I was 11. I wore what I liked. So anyways, she told me the child bible better be finished when she got back in an hour and a half, and she was going to quiz me. I had that book done in an hour. The last half I was remembering things for the quiz. She never did it lol. But hey, I take that as God right there. He wanted me to read it. So I prayed and prayed for 2 years to go back home. Every night I folded my tiny hands, bowed my little head, and prayed as hard as any child could. Things were changing slowly, but not fast enough for a child. We don't know time or have patience. My oldest right now, isn't believing God exists, because she wanted to move back home at 12, but I told her I couldn't do that to Savannah. Her younger sister. Because she's 9 and wouldn't be able to decide. The judge wouldn't let her. So she said God doesn't exist, I've been praying to live here and it's never happening. I told her He doesn't work that way. Especially within half a year of knowing Him. I asked her what she wanted God to do to show her He's real? She said better friends, tried, real friends, not the fake ones I had last year. So I got on my knees beside her, while she's folding her hands. I prayed that Cheyanne is confused and doubting you Father. She wants so bad to move home, but at this point we know it's not possible, but if there's anyway you can let my sweet Cheyanne know that you do exist? She wants to know Lord, if You could help her get real friends who don't make her fell like crap about herself. That would really help her understand in what things You can do quick and things that take time. In Jesus sweet name we pray. Amen. So in Sept, right at the beginning of the school year, she gets 3 new friends. Come Nov, these friends are making her do better in school, in her self, and in activities. But by the time all this happened, she stopped coming to visits. I told her in a letter that God answered her prayers about New true best friend. She said she didn't care anymore. All because of her dad being a bitter eff. I'm not gonna swear even though that's basically equivalent to saying it lol. He keeps using my daughter against me. So now she's following in what he's saying about God, and how He doesn't exist. He doesn't think God exist because I left him. 6 years of abuse, ya you bet your bottom dollar I'm leaving. I didn't find Christ too along time after, but I always knew He was there. I shouldn't have kids. I have 2. Was 3 buy the second pregnancy the twin passed. Now it's my turn to dig my knees into the ground, lock and load my hands, and send the power of prayer to heaven, to my everlasting loving Father. For only He can make it better again with my kids. Right now, everything is happening for it's reason. He's breaking me down inside, and it's hard to keep faith, but I do. I know He's doing everything behind the veil. It all will come to light soon enough. Praise Jesus. 🙌
