There are a few really good and underrated rbs who could be top 5 this season if they get the appropriate amount of carries, mixon and also Derrick Henry as well. Also I like Matt Breida a lot very underrated but it is definitely a stretch to say he will be a top 5 rb. Henry amd mixon tho are both not only underrated but both are monsters

It’s even more impressive that he did this with limited carries and a shit o-line

@@Darknamja Nah, bruh. A lot of those reverses were because the line opened nothing for Joe. Not saying they didn't open any holes, but Mixon carrying half the load by himself. Not to mention they still graded at the bottom of the league in overall blocking.

Great video as always Hail Mary. Really like how smooth he can run with the ball. Really reminds me of Arian Foster with the size comp. If he can stay healthy, he'll be a force to reckon with moving forward. Looking forward to more highlights!

Versatile is right, hes an amazing receiver from the backfield too. He could easily line up slot and change things up that way. Hes a play designers dream. A swiss army knife.

Don't get to watch the Bengals often, but wow Mixon looks good!! He could of had some homerun plays on some of these highlights had he taken advantage of some downfield blocks. No doubt he's a special talent!!

It was an injustice that he was not a Pro Bowl starter, bias against the Bengals typical, look out this year , I promise he will give them no doubts....

What a season

He led the AFC in rushing while missing games and having one of the worst line in football. Was also misused for most of the season my Marvin Lewis. This dude will have a record year in the new offense.

@@RsReborn19 Its two weeks in. Also has nothing to do with his play himself and everything to do with the offensive line allowing contact in the backfield more often than they are blocking with their -0.1 average before contact. No back could be successful with what has been shown from that line.

Love the way he plays. He's got crazy acceleration and elusiveness but at the same time he's not afraid to use his size to run straight through you. Dude's gonna be a superstar.

More pass attempts is needed for him he can turn up quickly down field he's a dual talent..

They’re more talented than credited because of the 16+ year tenure of Lewis, and he was never known for offense, Taylor is and has 2 1000 yard wideouts a top talent tightend and mixon 1000+ yard rusher. Their oline is where they’ll be weak. And injuries have been a problem in recent years but if they stay healthy there’s potential

can't explode in the open field if the entire time you're handed the ball and immediately start going left and right rather than running full speed through an opening. The fact that he can average 4.2 yards with Cinci's trash Oline is remarkable. Put him on the Titans. See what happens.

Imagine. This man isn’t going to be featured in the nfls top 100 behind the Bengals atrocious O-Line but they put James Conner on there. Mixon is leading afc rusher and averages 4.9 yards per carry.

Imagine Mixon on a good team. I’m a Cowboys fan, love me some Zeke - but Mixon is my favorite RB in football. He is so smooth, and so good in traffic... He has it all - burst; acceleration; top end speed; stutter step; one cut; run power; and GREAT receiving the ball... Hope new HC can get most out of him...

The one thing that kinda' holds him back sometimes is his vision. There are quite a few plays where he runs right at the defense rather than the wide open field.

Ian Delpire I think every running back does that from time to time...even the greats...when you watch a replay you think, “Should’ve cut to the right.” But in the heat of the moment no one is gonna make the RIGHT cut EVERY time... For me - it’s what he does in traffic that’s so impressive...he runs into the line, then squirts out for amazing plays...imagine what he could do with a good O-line and an offense that THROWS him the ball more...dude is a GREAT pass catching back... On a better offense he’d be at least top 5 back in NFL... Remember - I’m a “snobby Cowboys fan”, and this guy got me more excited than Zeke coming out of college... Zeke probably still better ALL ROUND BACK...but ALL of Mixon’s skills make him just as valuable...he’s basically the perfect balance between Zeke and LeVeon... In fact - I’d even say that LeVeon is Mixon lite if Mixon were on a better team... Mixon > Conner for sure...

Jeffrey Musser.. Bengals fan here. While I agree with your assessment of Mixon's skill set I still think you have the better back in Zeke. Zeke is top 3. Mixon isn't top 5 just yet, but he is closing in on that window fast! Could be in there as earlier as this year, but he'll have keep up the production. That new HC bringing that Rams offense should help.

Whodey Nation That’s sort of my point - the system has held him back...i.e. - bad coaching... Had Mixon on my fantasy team last 2 seasons and he’s only had like 2 games with more than 5 receptions... No doubt Zeke and Barkley best RBs in the game (add Gurley sans knee concerns)...but those guys have offenses built around them...Lewis was too dumb to follow suit... Despite that, Mixon still produced even when Green and Dalton both went down to injury this past season... Not saying he’s the best back ever or even now...but put him on the Steelers and we’re saying he’s better than Bell...

Mixons alright but no lie, I think people sleep on Bernard. He deserves to start somewhere.

Easily a top 5 RB in the game. I'd put Zeke and Gurley above him. I think Kamara goes up there if we're talking skill. Maybe Saquon...I like the kid, but one season is too soon to anoint him the next great RB. I say after Zeke and Gurley, it's a toss up between Kamara, Barkley and Mixon.

@Fallon Heffley yeah. Based off skill alone and not numbers, he's special. Amazing vision and moves. Plus his numbers are ridiculous in terms of receptions and ypc. He's one of my favorite Rbs atm.

@@crondigady he could honestly be a starting wr on most teams. But since we're talking rbs, I think there are some better pure rbs out there. But as an offensive weapon, I'd say there's no one better. I think Barkley could be the best pure rb by next season. We will see. Edit: if he can put up a 1000 + 1000 yard season like Marshall Faulk did, he's going to be considered the best.
