Scanty is arguing based on new school gospel and my other brethren are for the old school. Personally my choices of gospel music changes based on my encounter with the Word of God. Some of the 'gospel' songs have questions doctrinally with regards to bible doctrine. Christian music should first of all point you to Christ and His finished works. Some of the gospel songs are Just emotions. Joe Mettle dier He's one of the major bridge of Gospel music in Ghana between the old and new school. Big respect to him.

That Mama Esther, Piesis Esther , ......................list is actually fire. All the folks on the list are great Gospel artistes. But Joe Mettle might just be our Biggest Gospel Export right now because he broke the language barrier in our music. Our local languages seems to be a very difficult export when it comes to music and art. Artistes in the future who want to have more international recognition will need to mix it up, cause Joe is showing that it works.

If you don't work, you don't eat. There is always two ways to a Gospel song: there's what the artist is thinking while writing the song, and what the actual believer gets from singing the song. Either way, we will definitely get one of these two scenarios exalting God. Win win if you make money out of the process.

He has served under other artistes in the past and has thus risen through the ranks He has been validated by the technical 'experts' by his awards, being first to pull gospel to VGMAs big award. He is literally the artiste who represents Ghana on international platforms, aside Dr. Sonnie Badu. He is both a recording and performing artiste which most musicians are not. He has also been here for very long and is still vibrant. He blends the old with the new trend well. He has been a mentor to most upcoming musicians and he unites. He trains hard too with a solid, dynamic team for live ministrations. He is my favorite Ghanaian artiste.

The compasrison between the old gees and new era is a NO NO. There was no social media back then yet they managed the get their songs out there. Yet one thing the oldies had little knowledge about is the "business and industry" side of the music they were doing That is what the new era has come to meet. Now thanks to progression the new era can take the music overseas and make more impact. The oldies built the foundation and now the new era is next to continue
