Exactly 😂 mavs were like +15 FTA in the first half.. they knew they weren't winning this game, so they didn't try. Vegas cashes in, the league gets their extra game, everything is normal. Celtics -20 on the boards is the bit clue. That's never happening if they're trying.

@@billymcnasty05 at that level men cels would have like to win i think, i was looking at jason and he was trying to score men but the defense was too tight. i coach un 15 obl and this year it will be coaching under 16. i can tell you defense that is well executed actually win games over offense men. we won gold in our division here is ontario and it was utilizing half court traps, 2 one 2 defense with the one closing up the gaps so they had no open driving lanes. after a few stops they panic and start to shoot bricks from beyond. so yeh it looks odd but the game is fast and change or get away fast in real time.

Mazzulla needs to play this on loop for the C’s ☘️

​@@kylecityyYeah, and in this game it seemed like they just completely threw out the previous game plan. Pre-switching everything, tight coverage hovering around the arc, no help in the gaps. It literally looked like the Celtics were trying to show off how good their team was and flex having 4/all defensive players and instead they shot like shit and got punched in the mouth. Just didn't respect their opponent on the road with a chance to sweep, happens a lot honestly.

It’s funny he praises their defense whole series, then when they don’t all hell break loose😂😂😂😂😂😂

It's actually insane. The amount of BRAINDEAD, HORRIBLY COACHED, UNDISCIPLINED play in this league is actually insane. before (I'm too late) anyone says boston wants to win at home that's stupid and says alot about their character. being up 3-0 and a comeback never being done ( in the nba) doesn't give you the luxury to not try. there are no guarantees in sports, and if you don't want to be on the wrong side of history, you gotta reduce the probablity as much as possible. they aren't playing against kids, these games are the celtics playing like they are supposed to and the mavs are not (until today). I am not saying the mavs have a great chance but you at least should have tried and put pressure on the mavs to make game 5 easier (rough them up, ruin their confidence, and a single game can just be seen as good practice) even if they ended up losing today. but no. if the celtics somehow lose game 5, then they win in dallas or it's a game 7 situation and they will regret game 4. just foolishness if they DID let the mavs win.

It's more of a joke than anything. In reality it was a perfect storm in Game 4. The intensity and desperation combined with the improved defense and shooting of the Mavs mixed with the Celtics doing what they do many times which is take plays off and then not knowing how to stop the flood gates after they've opened, lead to this blowout. I don't see this happening again, but it's easy to see the Celtics were not mentally ready for this game and the Mavs took every advantage. I mean we can see this in smaller moments in Game 2 and 3 where the Celtics got a 20+ point lead and then nearly give it away because instead of staying with the same offensive intensity they played with to get the lead, they try to slow the game down, waste time, play "iso" ball and it leads to them taking bad shots, not moving the ball, leading to turnovers, and allowing the Mavs to go on their own 20-0 run.

Hope we get Game 7
