Great song from the late 60's that I enjoyed much in the past. Another hit from the same year was good morning starshine, by Oliver.

There's an old saying that you never forget your first love. Every time I hear this song it reminds me of my first love. Her name was Debbie Flenard. She was 16 and I was 18 and just graduated from high school in 1969. I loved her so much and I'll never forget the day she broke my heart! I cried like a baby! She did get married before I did. I was 41 when I got married and have been with my wife Nancy for 33 yrs. I felt no reason to tell my wife about Debbie Flenard because we were both kids at the time and it's part of growing up. I'm 74 now and very happy!
