Why is this guy not in the R&R Hall of Fame?

JJ is not rock and roll. He has no category. Not really a good player on his records, but the songs are like XTC and not quite Elvis Costello. He has no category. He's just going to be his own outsider thing. Probably more great songs than a lot of R&R Hall of Fame denizens but nobody talks about him. Why is that?

Saw this tour. (I'm old.) Best sound and mix of any live performance ever. Drums and vocals were magical. No Graham Maby on bass was a bummer and a rarity and the guitar was a bit weird but everything else was out there.

Not actually the tour, but the recording of the Big World album. (On the Live in Tokyo video, I believe it's Tom Teeley on guitar, instead of Vinnie Zummo.) I owned a copy of the official video on beta at the time.

The drummer ALWAYS gets the blame. After they stopped the song (during the intro) Joe turns to the drummer and says " what happened?...you were a little slow, right?" But Joe is the one who counted off the song!
