Not entirely accurate Jordan but I get where you're coming from. Now days he'd come in as is, be a star on NXT as himself(where they allow talent some freedom) and be butchered on the main roster when Vince realizes he exists and yes even as charismatic as Joe Hendry is, they'd easily find a way to mess him up on the main roster. Then he'd either leave the WWE, or ask to go back NXT like Finn Balor or Breezango. Overall it's better for him to not go there at all, even for a great NXT run, due to said inevitable main roster butchering. Not even Joe Hendry can escape the dreaded main roster creative, as prestigious as he is.
