    For minute, I thought that this was an early truck driver song ala "Convoy" (C. W. McCall) where the mentioning of "ain't gonna pay no toll" was mentioned. Instead, this is a trucker's way to Heaven!

    What a wonderful early swing rendition! Haymes' warm voice was perfectly recorded, and that call and response collective singing that would satisfied all races was great. Although squared in terms of swinging, they do it very well. My poor English couldn't do well understanding the lyrics, anyway we all must be aware for fhe Judgement day, that's for sure. Excellent sound as always Andy!

    Hi Luis, I think the lyrics aren't to be taken too seriously, I think the gist is; he's paid enough on Earth and when he gets to heaven he's paying no more.
