Joe Cole Meets Brighton 🔵⚪ | Recruitment Strategy, Fatboy Slim, Evan Ferguson & Roberto De Zerbi ⚽🎥
Спорт
In 1997 Brighton & Hove Albion were homeless and 28 minutes away from exiting the Football League. Fast forward nearly three decades, the Seagulls in 2023 are experiencing European football for the first time. The club's journey to the big time has been nothing short of remarkable as Joe Cole takes us behind the scenes at the training base which sees the TNT Sports pundit interview the likes of Fatboy Slim, Evan Ferguson, Lewis Dunk and Roberto De Zerbi.

As a life long Brighton fan I totally agree with Fatboy, its like a dream that keeps getting better, still cant quite believe it😁
Imagine turning up for your Pub’s football-team Sunday match, and seeing Joe Cole is on the oppositions’ Team Sheet? 😢

I actually have played against him in the Sunday league. We went out to warm up on the pitch and the manager was like “Ok so, they got Joe Cole. So don’t even bother trying to get the ball off of him”.
One of the best stories in the Prem in recent years.
Great little doc on the Albion
Well done, Mr. Cole! Finally, an English interviewer choosing his language well enough for all interviewees to follow and answer without being confused.
A true 'Cinderella' club. From The Goldstone to The Amex via a council sports facility and 'home' games 80 miles away. Amazing story
As a United fan I’m jealous. We’ve fallen behind
God bless Tony Bloom 🙏🏻 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️🔵⚪️🔵⚪️🔵
Even better, BHAs chairman and majority shareholder is from Brighton. Credit is due
It’s really delightful to see how the club operates up close.
Good facility &scouting indeed
how far weve come and we are only getting started up the seagulls
The football worlds best kept secret. Highlighting this too much will only drive up prices for Brighton and football's economy is already way out of proportion. However, Luis Dunk is the missing piece for England 🏴 And for FREE, Southgate cannot see that past maguire
I really hope ferguson can score soon he needs one for his confidence
😊
Thanks Joe, always liked him as a player - very good vision and ball control, adaptable and skilled. Now a good pundit as well.
Agents can be scabs, mostly salesmen. Good scouting is vital even from a business perspective. Marketing players has gotten ridiculous and more than %50 never live up to hype
Ye
It's about more than the manager, the chairman or even the players. Potter did super well, left to a 'big club' with a squad of expensive players, huge finances - failed. Now Pochettino has struggled. "We are Brighton", and the magic is here.
I see that Joe has cut down his mid-interview, acknowledgement "Yeah's" to only 52 per minute. Kudos.
SEAGULLS
No disrespect to Joe but get a proper journalist doing the journalism.

Just try your best not to fail quite so much.
When Roberto De Zerbi leaves Brighton may get relegated.

Ha ha ha let’s see, mind the 6 point gap
Brighton's recruitment is kind of overrated, it's their development through coaching and clever use of the loan market that is so impressive. Most of the "gems" they buy are already on the radar of "big" clubs.

Don't understand your comments loan market, far as I am aware we have only loaned in one player over the last 5 or 6 seasons, we have bought several young players from a broad and loaned them out.

I could list a ridiculous amount of so called players tipped for the top who didn't. Cfc , mufc , have bought dozens of players and it not worked . Think your doing the wrong .

@@stephenfiest7346I meant loans out since that ties into development, especially to clubs in Belgium

I guess turning over a profit of £300m on player sales is overrated.....

Shows u know nothing about this club. Why aren't these gems a big clubs before us then. Save u spending £100m on our players when we spend £3m 😂Stick to Utd , Liverpool or Chelsea
55m? Mac Allister was £35m

The base fee for Mac Allister was set at £35 million rising to a potential deal worth £55 million in total with various add-ons and bonuses.
@randomshotz13

He's almost certainly going to reach all of his add ons as he's become a key player for them, it's just a way for Liverpool to spread the cost a little bit but it will total £55-60m I believe
Great feature. Love my team. UTA💙🩶💙🩶💙🩶
