Because it's REAL LIFE INSIGHTFUL SHIT! Not fast rapping, multi-syllable non sensical, corny lyricism. Although it's straight forward, it's intelligent. You still have to think beyond the surface of what that truly means. You can carry on an entire conversation about that one liner. Great writers don't need to throw abstract lyricism, or random compounded words together in order to craft clever/intelligent art imo. Sorry had to vent lol. Great comment sir.

I know this is older but this is something I really appreciate about this channel. Not only are you guys reviewing and reacting to a lot of the music I came up on, but now you've introduced me to something I hadn't heard before and really liked. I also really like what George said about rap being the perfect art form. I've felt for a long time that changes are coming within the music industry, changes which have already begun. I think genres will eventually become even more blurred and there will be more hybridized styles of music. Give me a highly skilled rapper over groove metal or reggae instrumentals and I think you can have the perfect song. The technical skills and versatility of rock/metal instrumentalists are, I feel at least, a perfect match for well-rapped lyrics, and reggae and hip-hop are already mixed together at times and are just as good, just fit a different mood.

You guys have been my favorite reaction channel for a long time now, I love how open you are when it comes to different types of rap and different music genres, and you are ALWAYS so real. Now I don't know if you guys listen to Kendrick Lamar a lot, but if you haven't heard The art of peer pressure, you really should listen to it! A real ass song man, the storytelling is just amazing. Big shoutout from Sweden, keep doing your thing!

I know this reaction is 3 years old. But this song is 11 years old. And I’m from Birmingham England, and I heard this when it came out. Still get goosebumps to this day. Budden in my top 5 💯💯 smart asf and so versatile. Underrated!!

Joe Buddens music got me through so many hard times in my life. I could relate to his struggle and the strength it takes to overcome. Most people have no idea this man is a lyrical genius. I am so proud of him and happy for all the success he is having now. Thank you guys for this. Mood music series was CRAZY for anyone who is interested.

Loving this channel more and more. So great to see how intelligent and to the point the breakdowns are. Plus y'all remind me of a Key and Peele type lmao. I'd really like to see you react to J Coles "Lost ones". It was the first rap song that turned me on to story telling rap.

Love the channel guys. Just subscribed. It's great to see people out there who still appreciate and understand real rap and the culture of Hip Hop. You've pry already heard it, but I think Exxxes by Budden is one of his top songs as well. The message behind it is so strong and something a lot of people can relate to. Most people think it's actually about a woman.. 😏

Big fan of the channel. Finding a lot of new hip hop through you guys after getting back into hip hop music through PRhyme. Can't remember which vid got me into you guys, but I'm on a binge now. I know you guys do some rock, and my suggestion might not have much backing, but it would be great to see y'all react to Dave Matthews Band "Seek Up" (Album). Keep 'em coming Lost In Vegas...keep 'em coming.

His lyrics in this song bears a true man's soul... to know he did wrong yet we as men always see the good even in bad situations... yet we can never mold into pureness with God but to accept it is the key as this song says... especially last verse the next time I meet you we won't have to talk...

Glad you put this out I use the music reactors as a way to experience new and old things and to get different views or similar sometime on songs to hear new things I missed or interpret or just simply see someone else be hype.
