His version of this song is awesome. But, at the end when Jade Macrae steps out, wow, blew me away. A true Star is Born. She shook me to my knees

The emotion that Jade brings to her lyrical performances has me a tear-soaked mess so many times over. She delivers such power and energy to the room that you can't help but be drawn in and you're hanging on every not. Brava!

This show was beyond amazing. It was a dream of mine to see a show at the famed Hollywood Bowl... and that it was Joe, made it outstanding!!

Jade's simply an amazingly talented singer. She blows me away every single time I listen to her. Not only that but what a great stage presence as well. I'm so glad she and Joe have worked together for so long now. They're a perfect fit for each other in the Bonamassa show formats imho. This was one EPIC performance, just amazing. Thanks for sharing J&R

With this interpretation, Joe achieves perfection. This is perhaps the most poignant Recviem of Love I have ever listened to. It is tragic and hardbreaking. It is the work of a perfect harmony between the strings of his guitar and the strings of his heart.

Never thought there could ever be a rendition of this song as powerful as Joe’s Beacon Theatre performance. I was wrong! *This is extraordinary!* The cries of pain give chills. And Jade’s performance tears at the heart. The perfect climax! Spine-tingling! Magnificent! ❤️

This is one further great outstanding performance of Joe and his band and of course this orchestra; one further one of countless many of Joe; for me is Joe one of the greatest musicians of our time; I’m never disappointed , many thanks , greetings from Austria 👍🏻😎

One of the things that I appreciate most about Joe’s live performances is his usage of all the various band members. From his keyboard player, backup guitarists, backup singers, and everyone else, they are all each fully utilized and get a chance for the spot light.

The SOUL of todays blues ..... GO JOE! ... Tear at those heart strings to mend the souls of those blessed to listen .................

I only listened to Beth Hart with your band. For some strange reason I thought you didn't sing. I know, I'm stupid. Well, youtube played " I'll play the blues for you." The raw quality of the live performance at Piere’s in Fort Wayne (15’ish years ago), the duet on “A new day yesterday” (album), Joe’s evolution and experiments never seem to stop, bringing us to this sophisticated rendition. Stunningly well done!

Man, what can you say except, that was epic. Joe's voice and playing are so strong and expressive. Jade's ending was just bigger than a skyscraper. I see an all-star musical cast (especially digging that trumpet section ;-D ) ... playing with such precision and passion. WOW. Seeing Joe live was one of the absolute best concert experiences of my life.

Uno dei miei brani preferiti di sempre cantati e suonati da Joe Bonamassa. Scritta, musica e testo, come regalo dal chitarrista e suo grande amico Warren Haynes ("The Allman Brothers Band" "Gov't Mule") per il primo album del 2000 "A new day yesterday". Insieme cantava Leslie West (leader del gruppo Mountain). Prima versione live ufficiale è in "Beacon Theatre - Live from New York" del 2012. Nel 2020 per i venti anni del primo album esce "A new day now - 20th anniversary edition" in cui Bonamassa mantenendo tutte le tracce musicali originali ricanta i brani e ne esce fuori una versione bellissima. Questa versione con orchestra (complimenti anche alla corista Jade MacRae) è a dir poco commovente 🥺❤

AMAZING!!! A true gentleman and so generous. To give Jade MacRae the closing of this gem of a song takes a real humble person who is confident enough in his own self that he can truly share his stage with anyone and enjoy every minute of it. Kudos to you Joe, for being the man we can all be proud of. And kudos to Jade for the performance of a lifetime!!! It was heart-stopping-ly perfection. It will ring in my soul for a long time.
