👎🏾Joe Biden/ Democrat INFLATION and U.S. consumer prices surged 4.2% in April, the biggest jump since 2008. The price of lumber has spiked since the beginning of this year, sending the price of new homes upward. A global microchip shortage has set back the building of new cars, sending the price of used cars soaring. Other sectors, like airfare and the hotel industry, had artificially low prices because of the pandemic last year but are seeing prices rise as Americans begin spending again. This is what happens when you elect Democrats and a incompetent to the White House. Elections have consequences!

I hate comments like this. The presidency is not a magic wand like people perceive. So much of it is left in hands of an ineffective congress that the White House can only try to broker with. In my eyes, he’s been doing an excellent job at finding wedge issues (jobs, taxes, childcare, etc) to force the American people and republicans to pick sides and garner support for his plans. He is a few MONTHS into the job out of YEARS. This is a huge ship to right, and we are making progress with him as an experienced politician. And yes, this is coming from a very liberal person here.

McConnell has no policy agenda.

corporations and the wealthy want guaranteed investments, R&D is not a guarantee, investing in their employees, is not a guarantee. Guaranteed investments are how business people and businesses make money. For example, Amazon invested in it's own delivery fleet, it hired more people yes but they're $15 an hour under constant threat of losing their job because they have their route scheduled out to the minutes and if they are late it puts them in danger of losing their job. It also meant less money for USPS, and the other shipping companies so jobs and job growth in that sectors has slowed significantly. BUT it paid off a lot for Amazon they made hundreds of billions for it since they started their own fleet, and it was a guaranteed payoff. That's how businesses and business people invest their money.

I'm for everything he's saying. But I think what the Biden Administration makes it's mistake is not explaining in detail what he's gonna do just like he just did here. Townhalls are very effective in getting your message across to the people.

Next phrased, the MONEY!!!! No guns and we cannot fight!!!!!!! Yes, having the right to be a gun owner is a big responsibility and one should take classes and of course have a permit and don't forget the insurance. Big responsibility!!!!!!!!

All I know is when Trump was in office I started seeing new businesses appearing in our area, which did not happen during the Obama Biden administration. Thinks we’re looking up for a while and now they are not.

Someone eventually has to pay back the debt and in the meantime paying just the interest starts to take money from other things that can't be done anymore.

Biden made 13 million last year and put it into an S corporation and did not pay taxes on it. He’s just bullshitting you. And all those trillions of dollars in bills he’s trying to push through, that money is going to democrat supporters as pay back for his election. He’s got our boarders sitting wide open letting anyone and everyone walk through and then giving them money when they get here. We were energy independent, now we’re not. If you believe Biden is doing anything good for America or Americans then you are a fool.

@@joshsmyth130 because there was not 2 trillion in tax cuts. Plus economy grew so there was more to tax. More government spending will increase the debt even if they raise taxes to the level he is talking about we can’t even pay for the current spending. Spending is the problem.

@@mysliwya no the figures were for a deficit of 2 trillion over ten years (from memory) and tax rises are the only way to recoup that. Cutting spending reduces economic growth, esp when dealing with an unstable market. Debt is also not the worst thing, what's more important than the debt is what it's being spent on. Fortunately if the poor get money they tend to spend it to, you know, survive. Where as rich and businesses buy back stock and make financial investments both of which, have diminished effects on gdp and both of which, they did with their tax cuts. The well off hoard money which does next to nothing, and the struggling, struggle more. Also the 2 trillion claim also includes the reduced economic growth from removal of wealth from circulation in the economy, cause, like I said, buybacks and hoarding do not help the economy. When u make money by having money, where are the jobs, the things getting made.

If you don't treat your elderly and poor with respect you wind up with people who hate and rebell against their government. Some countries rule their people by keeping them poor that gives the government more control but it also causes homeless overload making slums and disease and heartache and drama if we take care of our people it sets an example for other countries and it brings a bond between the government and the people who would want it any other way except the rich and the Communist who seek all the money and power.

I've had an Associate degree (with Honors) for 20 years. Wanna know what it got me? A cashier job at a major retailer at barely above minimum. You have to have a Bachelors just to be considered for an Assistant Manager position making only a little more pay with WAY more responsibility and blame. Sorry Joe, I like you, but you're WAY to centrist with those RWRC a$$holes. Manchin and Sinema need to switch parties TOO.
