I am a black woman in my seventy’s, my parents were Republicans all their lives, they instilled right from wrong in our family. I have been waiting for this moment all my life, when young and older black people could see what the democrats have been doing all these decades. I have watched the news, videos over the years but have never, ever seen black people so united against the wrong side which is the democrat party. THANK YOU SO MUCH, the next generation of black children that are going to be born will MAKE AMERICA PROUD AGAIN. Do not stop what y’all are doing, we older folks are depending and praying for you. As a bi-racial man (mostly of American Indian "Ojibwe" and less than 20% Norwegian "Viking" heritage), I will never understand why so many minorities, especially Black people, flock to the Democratic Party. They are and have been the most Racist group of Americans to ever live. Without the minority votes of Blacks and Latinos, they would not ever see the Oval Office again except on the White House Tour LOL. I can't find where one law created by Democrats has ever significantly helped ANY minority. One could argue that the Welfare System benefits minorities but in reality, it appears to have made us more docile and accepting of living mediocre and unfulfilling lives void of the happiness that most other Americans, including the White Democrats, happily live.

What's worse (in my humble opinion) is the number of people who DO know, but will still vote for him and against their own interests because 1) they despise Trump so much or 2) their family always voted Dem or 3) the media and celebs told them to, etc., etc. I will say that it is good to see so many people who are now paying attention, though. The problem with the bill is that the poor folks who were doing crack or selling crack got 40 times the sentencing that people who are selling it in the refined form were getting. Black folks and other minorities usually had crack cocaine which had much higher sentencing. Many folks who are more affluent who bought the refined version didn't get even a fraction of the jail time of the people who used crack. There are no excuses nobody should be doing it whether it's refined or crack but that's the disparity there and that's why there's more black folks and other minorities in jail for this and for extremely long sentences but the folks at the top of the cocaine food chain got much smaller sentences.
