Klaus Kleber In which universe did I say that was the evidence? The whole production was primarily on Jon's end with Arin and the rest of the grumps being actors more than anything else. From what I can tell, anyway. So jon wrote the lines. Then he goes and makes Arin say "I'm a poopoo peepee fart diaper babie's stinky asshole doodoo brain". Maybe that was just the bit, but I interpreted it as him making him admit he did something wrong in the past, like maybe whatever drove them apart in the first place. That's how I interpreted it, anyway, but that could have been because of the years of people being sure that there was conflict between them without really knowing it for sure. Not to mention, if you know anything about THAC or Marble Hornets, the giant break up of that crew is still pretty fresh in my mind.

Dai Katana review was AVGN lite, like that other NES angry wanna be, but by the second review he did he was really coming into his own.

I just realized, re-watching this, that Joe and Mac is just caveman Ghosts and Ghouls Almost to the T. Weapon replacement, easy to die, weird jumps, stroll to a boss, last boss is a demon, get the girl

Joe and Mac would DEFINITELY be a good cartoon from the ‘90’s.

He saw people like the more outrageous, "this guy's crazy" humor so he ran with it and has been doing pretty good. These older videos give me a Space Hamster kinda feel.

Water, Fire, Spooky, Japan... Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when Data East made a sequel to Joe and Mac. Only JonTron, master of the internet could stop them, but when the gamers needed him most, he vanished. 3 seconds passed and he just left, and since his gaming skills are great, he'll surely be able to beat the crap. This is really late, but the game isn't called Joe & Mac 2. In Japan, Joe & Mac is called "Joe & Mac: Tatakae Genshijin", which means "Joe & Mac: Caveman Combat". The second game in the series is called "Tatakae Genshijin 2: Rookie no Bouken", which means "Caveman Combat 2: Rookie's Adventure". The third game in the series, which in the west is called Joe & Mac 2, is called "Tatakae Genshijin 3: Shuyaku wa yappari Joe & Mac", which means "Caveman Combat 3: the protagonists are really Joe & Mac". Therefore, in Japan the series is called Caveman Combat, not Joe & Mac, which is why the second game can exist and carry the same name.

I remember Joe and Mac really fondly. It was an early SNES game and it's use of color was outstanding. That was the main thing that made it so enjoyable to play over and over again. Big characters and a super colorful screen. It totally said "you can't get this on NES or Genesis."

+Pokemon nerd Old jontron was more lolrandom and not as scripted. It felt more natural because it had a very personal feel. A lot of his style and editing was the part of the charm. But newer jontron feels a lot more stiff and distant. That's why i made a playlist of my fav jontron vids and most of them are the older ones. However jon has gone on record that he's always trying to update the quality of his videos, even if that means he must grow past his old habits. S A D B O Y Z Q _ Q

Goku turned Super Saiyan years before the game Congo was in was made. Hell, Gohan probably turned Super Saiyan before Congo. Possibly even Goten. Edit: 1 year and 8 months to be more precise... so maybe Congo was around the same time as Gohan, though I'm sure Trunks and Vegeta had him beat.

I am sure someone has pointed this out before, but in case they haven't, and because I don't feel like digging through 3000 comments I will say it anyway. The Japanese Title for Joe and Mac 2, was Tatakae Genshijin 2, which translates into Fight On! Caveman! 2. So if the first Joe and Mac was titled in japan Tatakae Genshijin, then both titles make sense. Also Congo or whatever the name of the character was, is most likely based on Son Goku (Sun Wukong or something like that in Chinese) from Journey to the West (a chinese myth / legend). Dragon Ball is also based on that legend, and DBZ was at the height of popularity in Japan in the early 90's, so Congo's powered up form is obviously just an homage/ripoff of a Super Saiyan.

You can't compare pewdiepie to jon - Jon is on a angryjoe level. His videos are creative, funny and rich with content - pewdiepie is just a creep making weird noises while playing games nobody even cares about. The fact that pewdiepie has more subs only shows how the intelligence of society is deteriorating as time passes.
