I've been a listener of Taylor Swift since her 'Angelina' and 'Love Story' songs, etc. Over time, I've noticed that when she writes songs without dedication, some fans always speculate as if unraveling a mystery novel. The mystery surrounding the subject of her songs always sparks intense fan curiosity. I simply enjoy her music and I don't know why some fans are more invested in criticizing her exes like Joe, who has remained quiet about their relationship even before the released on her previous album. I understand that the 'dramas; is part of music marketing, but if fans begin to cancel or spread toxic hate towards someone civil and respectful about their past relationship, it reflects poorly on how we handle endings. Some relationships that seem flawless in public also come to an end. Assumptions really create toxic narratives

Five years of loyalty & support say otherwise. He looked very proud at her shows, at the awards ceremonys they went to together, but he’s a private guy, he’s not a showman. It doesn’t come naturally for him to show public displays of affection but he still showed up. It doesn’t make him a bad guy, at the time this reserved, quiet, gentle guy is what she needed to get her through the worst time of her life, public humiliation and her Mum’s cancer battle. Joe deserves respect, he has been the perfect gentleman, there’s a reason he’s had the most love songs written about him. He is merely a chapter in her book and that’s alright, it doesn’t make him a bad guy.

I feel they are still seeing where it goes like he and his family have said. She cannot be involved with anything but her career and everything else is secondary. All she needs is an emotional anchor to support her career efforts because her business is about emotions and she needs somewhere ro ground it either less temporarily or more temporarily . I think the magazine should have toned down the unnecessary references to her (london boy title, lyrics/song references etc. but they want to sell copies and that stuff get's more attention...), but he should be allowed to set some things straight that were misconstrued/-interpreted by some people, i. e. rumors they were on and off again, when the break up happened etc. He didn't say something bad about her or talk about private stuff.
