Thank you so much! That is one of the things I always hope to see when seeing a mouthpiece review. Not everybody plays just jazz. People want mouthpieces for so many other types of music. I need to get off my butt and do more videos

My pleasure! It’s a 7*. Pretty expensive mouthpiece but gets a great sound. I eventually ended up going with Syos Where I could get something similar but at a cheaper cost

i am planning on switching to dv also and I currently use a classical mouthpiece, do you think I will have trouble playing the dv? also do music center of hawaii have these in stock usually?

They actually done keep those in stock. If switching from classical I would HIGHLY recommend the JodyJazz Hr! 🙌🏽💯. I played that for 6 years. Hawaii music center should have several of those

Hey man. Is it extra to buy it with the ligature and cap? I recently bought one and I’m waiting to get it to see if it does or doesn’t

It should definitely come with a ligature and cap. Alot of my friends play this mouthpiece and LOVE it!!

Hey man, is the teeth guard that comes with the jody jazz mouthpieces removable? Or should you apply your own guard on top of it?

It is actually part of a mouthpiece. You can probably put another one on top of it though

I have played the hard rubber super jet, it was not a really good fit for me. But not to say that it would not be a good fit for you 😌

I think the brass has lead. But that's why most metal mouthpieces are then plated in gold and usually another base metal. Some are unplated though, so always worth checking
