Jodie Foster Gives Superlatives To Most Iconic Roles: 'Silence of the Lambs,' 'True Detective'

"She's just the worst." Jodie Foster dishes on playing a jerk detective that "nobody likes" in the new season of "True Detective: Night Country," and reflects on her pull to tell stories of isolating characters throughout her career. Jodie also goes down memory lane and hands out superlatives for some of her most iconic roles, including the character that is the most and least like her, the most quoted line she hears from fans, and the movie she rewatches the most.

Jodie Foster is an actor of exceptional talent, depth and beauty who was always ahead of her peers, by the time actors of her age were in their diapers she was making commercials, by the time they learned to speak, she was making movies for Disney, by the time they starting going to the school, she was winning awards and getting nominated for the Oscars, by the time they decided to enter films, Jodie decided to leave it behind and enjoy the ivy league world which she graduated with magna cum laude, by the time her peers had their breakthrough she already had won two Oscars and transitioned to the director's chair. An extraordinary talent, who's contribution to cinema is unparalleled and exquisite. A sheer gift to the world of acting and filmmaking. I really hope she gets an oscar nomination for Nyad

What a fun, interesting and entertaining interview. Both Jodie and Kelly were great. Came here for Jodie but first time with Kelly and she's is genuinely candid and down to earth. She's so young and didn't know Jodie's been doing this since the age of 3.
