Aww K-Ci is a cutie pie too, but DeVante's just sex. Plus he wrote all their stuff and arranged everything, so he's got the brains, too. So it's not so much about his skin coloring as it is the sex appeal, quiet demeanor, and sheer talent (for me anyway).

Mr Dalvin is a talker. That’s why he does most of the interviews and keeps up with fans still to this day. He loves to talk. Devante does most of the production music so why would he hog the spotlight? Dalvin does background vocals and production and does the outfits for Jodeci plus plays the drums.
