So on sway in the morning...sway asked kci "how did u come up wit the "oooou yea" kci said "i didnt have shxt else to sing ..so i filled in the blank wit OOOU YEA (he sings it live and loud 🗣️) and that was it 😎 ...simple (the whole studio buss out laughing) 😂😂😂 now we know where the "whooo yea, ooou yea" came from...the famous kci hailey riff. And kci is the inventor of "the stanky leg" facts!

According to K-CI on the R&B money podcast, DeVante wrote this song as a teen before they got a record deal. He said AL B Sure only changed the opening line to so your having my baby for Kim..but everything else was DeVante's.

Yes he can..his voice comes after Mr. Dalvin. K-ci JoJo Dalvin DEVANTE Trust me DEVANTE knows music and how it's supposed to sound. They all from church. U have to know how to sing in church. K-ci and JoJo voices just higher and more powerful. They can sing any range. Dalvin and DEVANTE are alto's and lower toned.
