This week’s Genesis Invitational at The Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles sees all of the world’s top 10 players in action. The 2021 winner and local favorite, Max Homa, will look to retain the title he won in dramatic fashion after beating Tony Finau in a two-hole playoff. Homa will be hoping to become the first player to win back-to-back titles at The Genesis Invitational since Phil Mickelson in 2009. World No. 1 Jon Rahm will be looking to improve upon his T5 finish last year, in which he shot an impressive 6-under par 66 in his final round, but fell five shots short of the lead. Having not won a professional title since the Masters in November 2020, Dustin Johnson will hope to rediscover some of the form that saw him win at The Riviera Country Club in 2017. FedExCup leader Hideki Matsuyama, Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth are but a few more names to watch among the star-studded field in California.

Get that pin on 10 today bc tomorrow that thing will be tucked all the way in the back. I could watch just full field coverage of 10 all day. One of the best If not the best short par 4 in golf!

If you have ESPN+ you can watch featured coverage of just the 10th hole. That's what I am going to do tomorrow. With that back pin, it's popcorn time. Then once the final group goes through I will put on CBS and watch the backnine

I said this kid was special I wasn't wrong.
I had him 60-1 in my bet slips and forgot to place any of my bets. It’s killing me to see him tear it up but I’ve believed in his ability since EAL played with him a couple years ago.
Rick this is how you putt!
Can he handle the Sunday pressure on the PGA Tour?
we need the 10 min videos please the ups and downs are the best bit
His swing will destroy his back in a few years.
Felicidades Joaquín, eres un campeón..y has ganado tu segundo premio, viva Chile mierda.....

@BlitzkriegCHILE How is their driving?
All that shouting "Get in the hole " etc, would drive me insane.
So 19 under divided by 3 rounds would leave him at roughly 6 under per round. Seems attainable if that's all you do for a living. Just saying.

It's not a linear relationship between time put in and performance though. You can practice for two hours a day, move up to four hours a day and it isn't that likely that you will improve much. At one point most players hit a ceiling for what they can achieve , which is why saying doing something for a living doesn't mean you will be exceptionally good at it. Golf is an extremely technical and mentally challenging sport as well.
