In the final round of The Genesis Invitational 2022, Joaquin Niemann turned in an even-par 71 to finish at 19-under, leading wire-to-wire to claim his second win of his PGA TOUR career.

This week’s Genesis Invitational at The Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles sees all of the world’s top 10 players in action. The 2021 winner and local favorite, Max Homa, will look to retain the title he won in dramatic fashion after beating Tony Finau in a two-hole playoff. Homa will be hoping to become the first player to win back-to-back titles at The Genesis Invitational since Phil Mickelson in 2009. World No. 1 Jon Rahm will be looking to improve upon his T5 finish last year, in which he shot an impressive 6-under par 66 in his final round, but fell five shots short of the lead. Having not won a professional title since the Masters in November 2020, Dustin Johnson will hope to rediscover some of the form that saw him win at The Riviera Country Club in 2017. FedExCup leader Hideki Matsuyama, Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth are but a few more names to watch among the star-studded field in California.

Good going Niemann!!!!! I really hope he is a distant cousin!!! Lol
Just a suggestion for the PGA Production Director. I noticed recently that the camerapersons are using a shallow depth of field on putts, where they are follow focusing the ball into the cup. Where it may look cool to a degree, I think you should just keep it as it was where the viewers can see the whole line of the ball/green in focus. Just a suggestion. Maybe others noticed and can comment also.
