Joaquín Niemann | About a Boy
Спорт
This is a story About a Boy who at the age of two grabbed ahold of a plastic golf club and never let it go. Joaquin Niemann’s journey to the PGA TOUR began in Santiago, Chile. The boy was a natural at the sport and as he grew, so did his game. He spent nearly a year as the No.1 ranked amateur in the world and notched 25 wins before deciding to turn pro at age 19. In just eight weeks he earned enough FedExCup points to secure his PGA TOUR card for the 2018-19 season. As the only player from Chile on the PGA TOUR, Niemann represents the dreams of young Chilean’s who also hope to be successful in golf - a tremendous responsibility for the young phenom whose dreams are just beginning.

When I saw him play in the Latin American Amateur, I told friends about him and I predicted that he would soon be a big name on the PGA Tour. I was right and I'm not surprised at all.

Nasty looking air in the valley.

The curse of Santiago, being located in a valley, it blocks air flow. It's only nice after it rains or snows (it rarely snows though).
He looks like a senna the f1 driver

Just a little
Joaquin is 20 years old...he's not a boy...show him some respect. On the bright side, his talents are very obvious and he looks to be a potential phenom.

Guru Joaquin
Habiendo tantas buenas tomas de Santiago, ponen la más horrible

I mean it's not THAT far off. We have altiplanic culture in the extreme north of Chile. However Joaquín Niemann is a Santiago kid from the capital, so still not accurate enough, lol.
read The Talent Code
JOACO te doy una buena idea? cuando seas millonario comprate ese CLUB que fue tu club y lo revives que seria lindooo!!! nose que le paso a las palmas....ojala pudieras hacer algo tu.
Nice kid and nice family I’m sure, great player, but it sure does help to come from money like that in a country like Chile...

When it comes to golf, it helps to come from money period. Country club memberships, lessons, golf clubs, green fees. It all costs a lot even in the US.

Max Schein Of course, but over there the dollar stretches a bit further if you know what I mean. Income gap is far greater. You’re either filthy rich or dirt poor. So in agreement, he definitely got access to the best training Chile has to offer.

@@mschein10 you can have all the money you want, but if you don't have talent, you are just another rich dude talentless. Joaquin is not in that group, he has talent, never forget that.
