Blackfoot from their “Strikes” album. Same album with the song “Flirtin With Disaster”. And “Highway Song”. Whole album is excellent. Best version of “Wishing Well” ever. And most well known/popular version. My apologies to the band ‘Free’.

I have to disagree about this being the best cover version. This is obviously the video version. As a lifelong Free fan from 1970, I’d like to see her singing this live. There is no equal to Kossoff, Kirk, Rodgers and Fraser in my opinion.

@@malcandersonyes! Sadly Koss was out of it a lot of the time when this was recorded. I remember an interview with Paul Rodgers mid seventies where they talked about him playing guitar on this…..

best cover by far is Blackfoot but this is very close

Great choice of song and JST could really give it justice, shame about the production losing the real feel of her voice - too clean for me (pitch corrected and lost tone) and I been to over a dozen JST concerts and love her real voice's sound.

suspect messrs Rodgers, Fraser, Kirke and of course Koss would approve

Decent attempt. Nobody on earth could ever touch Free tho. Gary Moore does the second best version. She should try Seven Angels...lol just kidding she'd hurt herself doing that.
