Joan is just as pretty as Nigella. There is a cultural difference between the UK and the USA when it comes to cosmetic surgery and that may very well be where the questions were coming from. Notice how the British royals and aristocracy don’t get cosmetic surgery. The folks genuinely don’t understand but they were curious. Joan’s husband was British so she also understood. Nigella is a sweet lady and it made my blood boil to see her being subjected to domestic violence. I love her approach to cooking, she is very charming. She has a good sense of humor, is very considerate and witty.

I can see what joans thinking the whole time, so graceful, stayed relatively passive. They were clearly not on the same level.

Looking back on that show, the sets were awful. Nigella was great tho, love her. Joan was one in a billion

Wow, I did not know Nigella had her own tv show. I am a huge fan but everything about this show seems so anti-Nigella weirdly. Nigella is fun, sensual, messy, clumsy, clever - this show seemed too clean, too proper for Nigella.

This show was a ratings disaster - the set didn't help; it looks like they're in a funeral home...with ugly shoes scattered about. Blame Nicky Haslam. Nigella is a very bright, engaging woman; why she allowed her agent to talk her into this is a mystery.

A big fan of both, but doubt they were fans of each other.

I loved Joan Rivers but this program was not for her

Was trying to work out who the third woman was. Definitely knew the voice. She's the woman on Graham Nortons radio show.

What a weird show

Omg Nigella didn't wash her hands after handling the raw poultry. She touched everything else in her path. Yuk! Salmonella here we come. Poor Joan!

The recipes are still good with a slight change in procedure. I’ve noticed that British and French cooks tend to not fixate on that. Also, Americans will even wash the chicken as well. In some cultures, being casual about raw meat is considered a sign of using fresh un contaminated meat. In the uk eggs are sold on store shelves, and are not refrigerated.

Omg that interview was painful. Joan is amazing, but the show was horrid.

Joan is absolutely right about Liz Trailer.

I'm not into Joan being on these types of panel discussions. When she's on a show it should really be about her.

Check out Graham Norton. It's kind of a panel, the famous red sofa, but somehow it always ends up just fabulous. Especially the episode with topgear guys.

It's a case of the host (who is terrific in other shows) not able to make the most of the guests. Joan said almost nothing in the chicken segment...why else would she (or the others, for that matter) be there? Nigella is terrific, generally, but it's not about the chicken (or the underwear, good grief) - it's about the guests!

Best segment is when they guess the price of lingerie. Something to focus on other than each other.

Excited to see Joan rivers but nigella is so humorless.

Her jewelry line, clothing and other products are still sold online on QVC in the USA.

Nigella did well

Joan and her "two facelifts" LOL When you go down that road, you need a repeat procedure about once a decade.

Was that man seriously attempting to be on par with Joan at 16.40 and then gain her approval with, “Right, Joan?”. Joan Rivers was always polite when she was in Britain but she must have been biting her tongue so hard. More than I’ve just done…

Luckily in Britain Nigella we do not have to worry. We get one `lovely day` a year. That`s our summer. The other 160 days or so are foul, foul, foul..rainy and cold. March weather. We get March weather all year round in the UK. America on the other hand gives you an entitlement: 6 months of hot, hot, hot and 6 months of cold, cold, cold!

Joan far too witty and brilliant for that scenario.

Tje cooking portion was so out of sorts. Leave it out and keep the talk show. Pointless.

How ironic that the woman I don't recognize (who is she??) is going on about how Jude Law is not going to be famous for long.

I bet Joan had a lot to say about Ms Cookin'Coke'Nose behind the scenes.

Nigella was not on top form unfortunately, I don’t think she suited a live show. I don’t think she let her guests shine enough
