Welcome! These musical clips are from a large video collection that is now being converted from VHS/Beta to digital. There is some viewing quality loss from the original video source due to the age of the tapes, but the performances are preserved and still a joy to view. I'm finding many lost performances from vintage R&B, Soul, Pop, Broadway, Cabaret and other performances. This channel will be the Ed Sullivan channel for the digital generation, something for everyone to enjoy. I cannot think of any other comedian who's routine is just as relevant and hilarious as it was over 40 years ago. The late great Joan Rivers was truly a genius.
ALL of Joan's classic jokes are still relevant in 2021 and beyond. She really made me laugh MUCH MORE than DULLLLLLL Johnny Carson!

I think the woman she’s trying to get to move to San Francisco to get a man doesn’t need a man because she has a lovely woman at her side. They look very sweet together.
Carson should have been glad she made it with her own show.
Watching these I can't help but wonder what would have been if Joan hadn't left for Fox and ended up getting the Tonight Show after Johnny retired what would have happened to Jay and Dave?

I reckon Joan would've still been around and hosting the Tonight Show, all things considered.

In Henry Buskin’s audiobook about Johnny ( on YT), Buskin said Joan was not on the list of replacements b/c NBC wanted someone from the younger generation who would have longevity as JC did. It’s a shame. Still miss Joan.

Yeah, one of the reasons she left is she knew they'd never give her the show, her shot with Fox probably was her only chance.

I believe "AC/DC" is an older slang term for bisexuality (since the current goes both ways). So I think she's referencing that

Commercial: “Why dating a young Latin woman is a good option? Why they don’t care about the age difference? Why they love American men?” Rotfl 🤣 Firstly, they are misusing the term Latin, which would refer to those from Latium, Italia. They mean Hispanic. Secondly, Rivers would piss on PCness and answer it’s because they want their citizenship! Duh Marry for the money, money, money. Look good, look good, looks good. 🙄 Thirdly, KZread doesn’t know it’s audience very well! They ought to advertise for a flight deal to San Francisco! “Hello, can we talk here?” 🙄
