I just found out about this show like 2 days ago and already finished it. I have to say that advertisement for this show was not strong

Kid cosmic villains: Season 1: alien invaders and biker in black Season 2: fantos and the planet kill Season 3:(fan guess) maybe a joker type villain or maybe more of a kingpin guy

I'm hoping its the PPG as the season 3 antagonist, given that the throw away line of the Biker in Black being a rogue agent sounds like some old BS That guy had international backing in personnel and huge financial resources, no way he'd be able to pull off this size of an operation without drawing the attention of the 'actual government.' Which *would* have made an appearance at some point in season 1 given the CONSTANT ALIEN INVASIONS but conspicuously was 'absent' if the PPG is to be believed. A clear lie, the Biker was acting on orders from the government already so there was no need for them to send in the National Guard or scramble the military's jets. The Biker trying to form Earth Force Enforcement Force (best theme song ever, btw) IS the government response and consequently was also their fall guy

I was expecting of a mafia and a black market for those stones.

The only thing I didn't like was the kroshs surprise backstabbing. It felt really unnecessary.

In my opinion it felt more in character than her suddenly teaming up with the Local Heroes, as her immediate turn around to being good seemed abrupt until then, but i get your point

I didn't liked how Chuck got shove to the sideline! Sure I didn't liked him in his natural voice but I consider him part of the Local Heroes! Also he would of wanted the extra limbs power the most!

i loved this season but i think i’d have liked to have seen more of the other characters given a role. some events felt like they were to happen regardless of character intervention which made the large cast feel sorta like a blob of movement rather than individual characters at times. overall i loved this season and the focus on jo but i’d have loved to see it spread out somewhat more fairly to other characters as well, especially given characters like chuck that were integral to season one and then hardly present at all in season two

God this show is suprisingly good I want it to get more recognition... Plus Fantos bro that dude is to hilarious I love him so much...

I loved this season so much, but was I the only one that wanted to see a bit more of Stuck Chuck? ;3

I love how the PPG is a big Powerpuff Girls reference. Same acronym and Agents Pink, Blue, and Green are voiced by the original Powerpuff Girls.

Anyone else notice the little reference Flo drops in Season 1 when she discovers the stones and then asks Fry, "What can you do, turn to goo?!", and then it turns out there's a goo stone?

I love it when a villain threatening, over the top, and also serves as a foil to the hero

The Biker in Black was a "rogue" agent? Now the REAL government agents are here and they're here to help? If season three doesn't subvert this in some way, like, I dunno, showing the problems with said agency like they did in season one, they're really sighting against the punk rock aesthetic of the show by being pro-establishment.

Great review! I love how even with 2 less episodes than the first season, the story told was so well written and paced I didn't even mind all that much

Hey everyone it’s kid cosmic (Jack fisher) hope you guys are liking the show so far!

It’s kind of weird how irrational Jo becomes in this season, unlike in the first season? I’m pretty sure her decisions are agreeable, but she just doesn’t explain them rationally. Like she could have said that she doesn’t want to spark suspicion on the partyafter their heist instead of saying, “Come on. Let’s celebrate. You deserve it.” That goes similarly with the unimpressive fallout between her and Kid. She could have said that they are not ready or battle hardened like Krosh. Why did she even roasted him by saying, “Because you suck”? That’s dumbest thing that ever came out from her mouth. In the end, it was just all about having connections between you and your friends and family. That’s how you become a true leader. I could really see how flawed the tips Qeen Xhan gave to Jo are.

@@leonardofarias8843 it makes sense, like a ton, considering how annoying Kid could get. Although, she could have continued by saying that they're neither ready nor battle-hardened. Then the plot would sill going along as the usual.

PPG Craig you slay dog

After this season I immediately looked to see if people were talking about it but only a few big animation channels really noticed it; most of the videos reviewing it aren't even getting 10k hits. I know it isn't completely obscure but it feels like it went under sooo many people's radar, and as someone who finds it to be one of the best cartoons in years it's very upsetting.

I loved Jo and I thought season one was insanely good, however I don't get why I didn't really like the second one. I think I felt it was probably a bit repetitive or too predictable at some points, it probably doesn't help the facts that I really couldn't stand the villain, I didn't find him particularly charming the way I probably should have... Anyway I wanted to wholeheartedly love this show but this season made me feel a little torn and I am confused as to why I'm not able to put a finger on it...

Okay so I found Fanos to be hilarious and couldn't take him fully seriously due to how he acts, but I'll admit he made my jaw DROP when he essentially vaporized the Krosh(es) without a second thought. He's a villain you love to hate. Also I was so hyped when the PPG showed up. Obviously, this wasn't gonna be the three heroes we knew and loved from our childhood, but just seeing them there (and one of them even being voiced by the actress who gave us Buttercup), I got all giddy inside.

For a show called Kid Cosmic, there was little to no Kid Cosmic shown. Jo growing to be a leader, and her mother getting a ton of screen time is all well and dandy, but then we are focused on these two characters instead of the larger ensemble, which we used the previous season to get to know. The diner patriots coming to the rescue was fun, but reached Steven Universe level of stupidity when it comes to "motivating" outside forces to do something. Furthermore with just the diner patriots they almost defeated the villain... which means he wasn't that powerful to begin with. Overall for me, season 2 was slightly underwhelming. That being said, still love the show, and can't wait for season 3.

excellently executed ideas but the overall plot kinda does a disservice for all characters except Jo. I think its a highlight of some conflict between Renzetti and McCracken's story-telling style.

I honestly didn't like the second season for the main reason is that kid isn't the lead beacos its just not fun to watch a teen save the galaxy (the trope is overdone)

@@gracekim25 Kid isn't the issue. I'm not even that much of a fan of him as a character and I'm glad they're focusing on others. I just think that Jo was a little too focused when it was much more equal in season 1. Basically the rest of the characters felt a bit shafted until the end, Kid being the most shafted. I still enjoyed it and to be fair, unequal focus on characters is an issue in many stories. But that's about the only thing that bugged me this season.

I respect your opinion, I felt frustrated watching season 2 because of kid's new stone, which (has the ability to transform into slime). While I was watching all the episodes, I was expecting him to get his old stone back but that didn't happen. I like season 1 better.

I didn't like season 2 really I had so many whishes for season 2. I would've liked if we saw more of chuck I also would've liked if kid wouldn't always get bad luck and just have some good moments like in season 1. I mean the title of the show is 'Kid cosmic' Wich is his name so I expected that the focus is more on kid. But there were good things about season 2 like the heist or when we saw Joe's dark side for once but I think that it could've been better.

I will say I like the direction it is going. Keeps the show fresh and interesting. Maybe they will do a time skip, like YJ, and we can see them age a little. Especially, Kid Cosmic, and the baby girl.
