That’s not funny, that is pure behavior

My kids were like that, every time they spent time with grandma. Puree the veggies and hide them in everything. I put lima beans and carrots in mac-n-cheese. I would put veggies on the side, for every single meal. And no one was allowed dessert until they finished all their food, including Brussel sprouts. The rule was for everyone, even adults.

When I was a child, my siblings and I would have to eat what was served. We had to sit at the table until we’ve finished. If not, we would go to bed hungry. My little sister always made a fuss and ended up being the last one at the table. She would ALWAYS fall asleep 😂🤣 I can still picture it! And my own children know better to not act like these children. I thank my parents for our upbringing ❤️

Parents my age (20s) blame ADHD and neuro divergence. Absolutely crazy, kids are kids and they're wild. They have their parents trained to giving them junk that people in the past simply didn't have access to. Born any earlier, and the child would die with the logic of these people!

2:06 Mom says, "I know, honey." If I hate myself for thinking that I know everything by saying, "I know", then I hate that kissbutt mommy for the same goddamn reason. The hell with these ugly foods that are badly cooked. I also hate the kids for being force fed by their abusive parents with manipulating routines.

@@maleighlovesbroadway What Amber is trying to say is that the teachers do not understand nor do they care about kids being allergic to any certain foods. If the parents were great parents, they shouldn't give kids foods that are way too uncooked or too healthy. Can't the kids go back to chicken nuggets until they run out? Or no foods at all.

@@armyofpets5547 chicken nuggets aren't healthy. These kids aren't allergic either. But kids have way more taste buds than adults and are quite risk averse to food, so it's better to make them bland foods initially over things with marinades and rich sauces.

Those kids are spineless because their parents made them eat all the foods. It's like the parents dislike little kids. Said children are so growing up too fast against their wills. What's next, alcohol before the age of 21? I thought it was illegal to drink underage! 😡 💢 🔞😠🤬😤

Honestly some moms have used a blender to mix the veggies into the sauce. Kids never even knew veggies were inside the sauce!

kids have more tastebuds than adults, so they are more sensitive to new tastes. But the main thing is that back thousands of years ago, if a kid ate the wrong thing they would die, where a bigger person might survive. It means kids can be very averse to new food and will try it with their mind already made up that they don't like it. Food has to be tried many times before they realise it's standard and can actually decide if they don't like the taste. But some parents don't persist and just give them junk the first time they balk, and so the kids continue. Plus all that salt and sugar put into stuff like nuggets is addictive.

Don't be sorry, That's exactly how most grew up. Not Italian, but my mom cooked ONE dinner and that is what you ate or went to bed hungry. Definitely didn't get rewarded with dessert 👍
