The look on Bailey's face when little face walks toward her just melts my heart!!

I forgot how perfect Jo was for this conversion. She grew up without a home. She knew how lucky Pru was to get the chance of such wonderful parents.

It's really sweet that Miranda and Ben took on an extra kid you can see she stole Bailey's heart instantly. She'll grow up with Joey and Tuck to protect her (and we all saw how protective Joey was of his foster siblings) and as Jo said she won't be lost to the foster system. It sucks to lose Dean but Pru will be ok with the baileys and warrens

@@jasminewhitmill true but remember Jo doesn't know Dean so she doesn't know if he had family, She was a foster child herself so to her that's the first thing to cross her mind when a child loses a parent. But his parents aren't that great they wanted nothing to do with her in the beginning. Her other grandparents on her mother's side live out of state so things with them are more complicated which is likely why he asked Ben to raise her with Miranda.

It's true but the look on Pru's face in 1:27 always kills me inside. She lost her father and she's a bit too young to fully register it. But, she still has family who will protect the way Dean wanted

She just lost her baby girl to a miscarriage I felt so bad for Bailey and I have not seen this entire episode

When Jo was telling Miranda how lucky Pru is to have Ben and her as her Godparents, she reflected how she would have loved to have people like Miranda and Ben as a parentless child. Which said a lot to Miranda who is this very strong, but loving person, I do think Miranda and Ben will be able to keep Pru.

That scene … broke me far too quickly Remembered baily’s miscarriage

I thought Dean daughter was a small baby

This reminded me of how she adopted her other son. She said that she has a big heart and a big home and lots of love to give.

It’s *that* moment. That exact moment where your heart goes “screw you brain. I *need* to be a Mamma to this child” Maybe you’re the only Mamma that child needs ever, maybe you’re a mamma for a little or maybe it’s somewhere in between but there’s that moment. While my foster son was 12 when he came to live with us but I knew. There was a moment. All the practical things would wait. Right now he needed us, there in that moment. My husband called me and said “he’s got no where to go tonight” and I said “yes he does. We’ll make it work”.

They dint hate each other .....it was just one superior bossing around an intern......plus it was Meredith who was way scarier that time. That being said ....u r right abt the meeting point .....goes to say, time changes everything

This scene just breaks my heart. Pru, only 2 years old, and already was abandoned by her mom and lost her dad. She will be loved and cared for, but she is still an orphan.

Chandra Wilson is one of the best things GA has... I'm really glad she is still in the show. And even when they're reciclying stories, damn, she is pretty good to make us feel what Doctor Bailey is going through. Chandra, we love You for that ❤️

I felt that total sigh of relief when Ben saw Bailey embrace that baby girl...

I love that Jo thinks Bailey and Ben are the ideal family.

And this is why I want to adopt so badly 😭😭😭. So many kids in the US need homes and people who are willing to put in the work to love/nurture them. Especially teens

I absolutely love that Jo told Bailey Pru would be lucky. Jo didn't want Pru to end up in the foster system, Jo knew Bailey would be the one to give Pru an amazing life.

Such a heartfelt song to such a beautiful scene Pru stole Bailey's heart

So sweet Dr. Bailey gonna be the little girl mama, that moment she ran to hug her💕😭😭.

i feel like she was originally intended to be kind of a meredith jr in a way (she was the only one left of the interns she was with, she had a relationship with someone above her, she had abandonment issues and a whole lot of unopened trauma etc etc) and after they BUTCHERED her story with alex leaving which was the worst thing they did, now they don't know what to do with her.

Can we talk about Jo acting in the background and Miranda saying Baby Girl melted my heart 🥹🥹🥹

This was such a beautiful scene! The song in the background made it even more emotional, especially when Pru walked in. 😭

I had already seen the comments about how it was touching and thought I was prepared Then that little girl walked in and I was like aawwww then Bailey said "baby girl"! Well, I cried. Please don't hurt Bailey AND Warren again. Couples usually don't survive losing child after child.

The cinematography of this scene with the way they integrated the audio track against the actor movements was amazing.

Honestly, Bailey has gone through so much pain, loss and tragedy and yet has a near infinite well of compassion and a huge heart she hides behind walls to protect herself, so she is pretty much the epitome of the perfect mother and role-model to someone starting out in life and has already lost so much, like Pru. We need more Bailey's and Ben's in the world, they are far too few.

I will never forgive the writers for killing Dean Miller off this show. After everything the characters have gone through, this is unbearable.

K this is what happened to me with my daughter. Had 2 miscarriages and a failed adoption. Went away to try to heal with my husband and we get a call about a baby girl badly abused. I had so many fears and hurts and said I just couldn't. I was in another province as well so I couldn't just return to get her . So they called my mom who was a foster mom as well. They just KNEW she wasn't going to go back to her abusers based on injuries and other factors and knew this would be my daughter. I couldn't believe the nerve they had to call her!! My mom took her and I was pretty upset with her. My mom said just meet her and see. I met her four days later. I looked at her and she was shaking (from drug withdrawl and absolute terror at being touched) and I took her in my arms and promised her I would do all I could to help her feel safe again. She was such a silent one. Never cried so I set my alarm for every 2 hours to feed her at night and she'd be wide eyed just waiting and hoping but silent. My heart broke for her every day. When we'd had her about five weeks, she cried and my husband, parents, and myself broke down crying too because we knew she was ready to let go and accept love and she felt safe. It took 3 years in foster care with us until we were able to adopt her. Worth everything. She's now 23 and feisty as all get out (we MAY have gone a little overboard with letting her speak her mind unafraid LOL). Lucky I got to be her mama bear and that she's mine!

I was upset when they showed the promo for this episode I thought Ben was going to die but this melted my heart

A heartwarming scene! I knew I could adopt when I realized that if someone put a baby in a basket that I would fight my way through the courts to keep it!! I didn’t have to go through that. But we adopted a baby that needed us as much as we needed her!!! 21 years ago!
