Yes! I noticed that too, when they angled it away while they were covering it up. I also appreciated that they didn't coerce the story out of her, I was totally expecting a whole little sad side-storyline, but they absolutely left her dignified. Absolutely love this show. And especially Jo and Al. Gosh they're both so awesome in their own very distinct and amazing way

Can we give major props to the producers for not showcasing her scars AT ALL. There was one single shot when she was walking back to the changing room, but no zoom ins or major shows of them. I love that they didn’t exploit her insecurities.

I love how she went from “I’m too old to be a princess” to being one. 🥰🥰🥰

My favorites too. They care about making their clients happy. Too many of the others on these shows just want to sell dresses- the more expensive the better and regardless of what looks best or what the brides can afford.

Such very kind and affirming friends! Those are TRUE friends. And the dress looks beautiful on her!

Jo and Al just make my heart sing. They are so incredible and it just makes it so much more wonderful to see these beautiful women have such an uplifting time

I have so much respect for this version of SYTTD… even the video editors made sure to cut the episode together in a way that never showed this bride’s scars because she didn’t want them on display. They put their clients first!

I got married 60 years ago, and I bought a dress off a friend, dont know why, wasn't about money, but when I watch this show, I always wish I had gone and tried some on, just to see how I could have looked.

When I got married, I did not want to wear a tiara or veil. I didn't want to look like a princess, either. I had already planned to wear the flowers and pearls from my mom's wedding bouquet in my hair, and it came out looking stunning all on its own.
