I do still have the unit. I recently had to send it to Boss for warranty work. The clock would change to times out side of a 24 hour period (i.e. 31.11 pm) and the LCD screen would randomly go blank yet the system would respond to the touch on the blank screen.

Chris, if your car has a double DIN radio in it this unit should fit. You may want to check with Boss Audio first.

Turn OFF the AF and TA and the radio will not randomly change stations. As far as the aux cable, it depend which one you are using. The unit has RCA-in AUX cables in the back (Video LF / RT). If you attach a device that has video to this AUX cable the screen will display what is coming from the device. If you connect the 3.5mm AUX jack from the radio to a device you only get audio and the LCD will display blue.

The JK antenna requires the antenna adapter to connect to the standard antenna jack on the back of the radio to the Jk's antenna cable. Yes, you can get all of the parts listed on Amazon. Amazon also does free shipping is you do their super-savor shipping. Yes, you need all three Metra items to install this head unit. NOTE: this is for the NON-infinity stock JK radio. A different harness is need for the JK infinity setup and I do not know the Metra model number.

Yes I did the e-brake bypass. On this model all you need to do is attach it to the ground wire.

There are two ways to run AUX. Connect your device with 3.5mm phone jack into the AUX jack on left side of face plate or uses AUX video?audio RCA jacks on rear of unit. No it folds down in front of the unit. i believe you can see the operation in the video.

No it doesn't come with the camera you have to buy one separately. It does have the jacks to attach the camera of your choice.

It is a little cumbersome. its is just a list format. I usually just jack into the aux jack.

My model does not but the new models do according to the new owners manual.

Manual says TFT LCD, so I guess it is resistive.

the reverse wire that is attached to the radio where did you splice yours. on my radio the color is orange and it is labeled reverse wire. i just need to know where should i connect it.

Nice video. I was curious, when you turn off the car and the radio shuts down, do all the led lights go out? I just hooked mine up and when I shut down the car the power and mute LED lights stay on... and I'm not sure if that is normal. Thanks!
