Alr, AU creation time: Dazai has always been able to see strange things walking around. He didn’t pay it any mind though; he already had enough on his plate with actual humans after all. He didn’t feel like having to predict the actions of a completely different species and deal with them. He could, but he didn’t want to. That was until the agency received a certain request from a certain school regarding a certain supernatural matter. The agency received a request to help with ‘curses’. The agency was gonna brush the matter of as some kind of prank, but for Dazai, some puzzle pieces finally started to fall in their place, and so he accepted the request. Altho he didn’t feel like dealing with whatever this new species were, but he could complete a request for the agency AND learn about the things that have been soiling his sights from the experts on the matter, so 2 birds in 1 stone, right? And thus he set off to Tokyo Jujutsu School (“what kind of name is that-“) where he was met by the professionals themselves, the Jujutsu Sorcerers. He was given a basic rundown on what curses are, and through the information he was given, he started to formulate a theory on the connection between cursed energy and abilities. And suddenly this whole ‘curses’ thing became a whole lot more interesting. Wanting to learn more about the connection between the 2 and to find some evidence for his theories, he decided to apply to work as a teacher so that he can have an excuse to stay around indefinitely (“and for the sake of completing the request, I guess”). What the request actually was, idk.

actually, i think his damage would be a bit higher, since he was actually able to land a decent hit on chuuya in season 1. chuuya’s physical strength makes him the strongest in bsd, so dazai looked weak compared to him, but dazai isnt completely useless in physical combat. when he punched akutagawa in dark era for training, akutagawa actually spit out blood; dazai has to be pretty strong in order to do that. he wasnt called the demon prodigy for nothing.

Great video!! I have an idea for an explanation of this AU (although its probobly not as good as the pinned comment, and Dazai here might be a bit too ooc. heh..) The world of abilities and Jujutsu are like 2 different worlds. Although they appear united as 1 country- Japan, they are quite different.The world of Jujutsu is slightly more advanced, while the world of abilities are a bit behind the rest of the world. In the city of Yokohama, much of its population have abilities(70%) rather than cursed techniques, and Dazai Osamu is no different. Dazai, a 22 year old with a kill count of 138(+???), affilated with the port mafia. Although it was a life of violence and murder, Dazai was fine with it as long as he had his best friend, Nakahara Chuuya. Well that was until Dazai indirectly killed him in a mission and that Chuuya and Dazai were assigned to. Except that, Chuuya never died. He faked his death so that he could betray the Port Mafia and Dazai, only to Join the agency. Upon finding out, Dazai was full of hate for him, but he managed to suppress it and not go after Chuuya solely for the purpose of getting him back . Unless he interfeared with one of Dazai's plans himself. Which is what Chuuya did, Despite Dazai telling him NOT to. He would interfear, again and again. The last straw was when Dazai found out that Sakunosuke Oda, had the intention of Betraying Dazai specifically, Prior to his death. *That was it* Dazai finally had enough. Filled to the brim with revenge and hate for Mori, Chuuya, and Oda, Dazai came up with a plan to destroy Japan's order and the order of the 2 worlds,Plunging them into Chaos, if this plan suceeded would mentally kill Chuuya and Mori, (because Much of the people in the port mafia had cursed techniques, and much of the people in Chuuya's past were curse users) Dazai's plan, meant that he had to infiltrate Tokyo Jujutsu school. He sent his fake resume and his 'past' occupations (he faked being a detective) "Let stage one of 'infinite void' commence. Shouldn't have wasted my time on sh*tty people like you, but here we are. I wish you the best of luck, Chuuya" Dazai said, as he stood infront of the gates of Tokyo jujutsu school, he turned to someone, covered in black clothing, and said, "did you get that recording?" (I tried to keep it short, sorry that its so long )

It didn't really make sense, so I brushed it off and focus on the video.
