I think the discussion around sports media is fascinating. I’m 42, I fell in love with the NBA when Ahamad Rashad and Willow Bay were on Saturday mornings on NBA inside stuff, I watched ESPN religiously for years, I read the local newspaper about my team, I loved SI, etc. Now I consume 95% of my basketball content from KZread. I think the biggest difference is that KZread content creators just do it for the love of the game and you can really feel that.
The conversation about play recall was interesting. High level chess players have an uncontested ability at recalling previous games. The human mind is so good at specializing when it’s done at such a consistent and high level.
I'm NGL this is my first time listening to this podcast, I just love JJ. Did NOT expect you guys to have such insightful and intricate questions about basketball very impressed
