What a beautiful song for illness that affects so many people and isn’t understood.

That's a real man of God. By his woman's side even when she's at her worst. Not comparing her to other women & running away, like men these days.

From someone who grew up as a depressed teen after a mom passed away; listening to your music, then was diagnosed with POTS, WPW, and SVT at 14 and now 26, and survived an ablation and thankfully healed.. Man. After the battle I fought for so many years, coming across this video made me re-confirm my high appreciation for JJ. Heller.. JJ.. I really hope to meet you one day.. Your love for those suffering saved me from mine multiple times (besides Jesus). Helping us get through such hard times.. This song is a blessing. This has captured so well chronic illness. That husband’s support like that is more valuable than anything.

This song can be related to so many things; chronic illness, mental illness, injuries, grief, etc. Anything that would make one almost give up and it just brings tears to my eyes knowing that this message is for everyone and it will push someone for at least another day. Keep supporting each other, loved ones, neighbors, strangers whoever because you never know when they just need someone to believe in them! ❤

chronic illness is SO hard, especially when you’re young. this song is so powerful🤍

This is the first time I've heard this song. It brought me to tears. I can relate to this so much with my journey. It's so hard some days and I feel bad for my husband who has to help me so much. He's often saying he feels terrible because he can't do anything to help other than giving me the greenlight to get 'whatever pill' may help me. No one else understands, not even doctors. Just because we look ok on the outside doesn't mean the pain doesn't exist.

I'm battling with chronic illnesses and am awaiting an official diagnosis but have been told I might have POTS (along with the other chronic issues) so this song hit me hard. I'm over here bawling my eyes outs at the love and support that she has. That alone is something that so many of us with chronic illnesses wish we had. As a Christian I know I have the love and support of Jesus but sometimes need that human form of support to hold to when you can do things.

I suffer from primary Sjögren’s syndrome which is an autoimmune disorder and the lyric “you work twice as hard to get half as far” really got me. Like I feel that I’m my core. I’m so thankful to have such a kind, supportive, and loving husband who always believes in me. ❤️

I wish i had a good man like that. The last guy i dated knew that i have a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, chronic pain, degenerative disc disease, major depression, severe Generalized anxiety, ptsd, ocd, anxiety induced insomnia and am allergic to alot of things. And when it hurt too much to get out of bed, he kept calling me lazy.. I heard it so much that i got into a deep depression and if it wasn't for God and my kids, i would have let this man continue to bury me. So if u have someone that loves u and understands your pain then let person love you. Those gems are hard to find.

I feel for anyone in pain. Someone very near and dear to me was diagnosed with an autonomic nervous system disorder too. POTS is many times connected to eating disorders. Unfortunately, they are two associated types of suffering. The illustration of suffering and the challenge is accurate, but whatever you're going through I believe in Jesus, I believe in Christ's power over your circumstance whether it be anorexia, mental health, or POTS. We can't do it on our own and knowing our many limitations no matter who we are, it's useless to believe in ourselves. Believe in what God says about you and that he'll never leave you, he can walk with you through and out of any suffering. He is our help and our salvation. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Acts 16:31 Much love

I feel like this song could just as easily be interpreted to be about her husband, too. I’m also sticking by my wife in an unsolvable illness, and they believe in us.

This one hit home hard for me. I myself suffer from it. Mild form of it. Dizziness, fainting, and fatigue at times. Controlled thankfully with medication. I work full time to support my wife and three children. Somedays its hard to make it through the day at work. But I keeps pushing for them. I love you Jennifer, Marvin, Alanna, and John.

I live with a brain injury and chronic pain. When I first heard this song, I bawled because I needed to hear someone tell me this. "You work twice as hard to get half as far," really struck home as it's something that has always frustrated me. Bless JJ Heller for releasing this and giving me some strength.

wow...... there are a few things that can make me cry from the bottom of my heart, this song is one of them, i love you God, i love that he put the love in each of us, and this is the best thing that you can ever experience in your life, because God is love, this story reminds me that if you have the right person beside you and God and Jesus Christ as well you feel like a super hero, many people don't understand that...... when you are facing something that crushes you but there is someone who believes in you, supports you in good and bad, this is what i call True love. This has been me my whole 42 years. Early onset POTS and I too have an amazing husband. This video made me cry, so beautiful.

I lost my mom to cancer almost 3 years ago. And I saw how hard my dad fought for my mom.. Over time I met this amazing Girl, but because of my past and trying to project my mom unto her and I damaged her... it is until now that I lost her, that I made up with the passing of my mom. And I ask God for forgiveness and healing.

Thank you for sharing. I experience these physical symptoms on a daily basis, consistently for many years with no help from the medical system ( opposite in fact) if you knew my story. I fought to stay alive for my children for many years. I am alone with the responsibility of four children with many complexities involved which are EXTREMELY trying on top of my physical suffering. It is such a blessing for someone when God allows them to be with someone who truly loves and cares for them! Congratulations to all those who have found true love💙🌺💖

I deal with chronic depression some days I can’t get out of bed or anything and he’s always there for me

This made me cry. 😭 I deal with severe chronic illness after an abusive childhood, and 10 months ago I married the most incredible, safe, caring man. Our life looks so much like this. Daily pills, hot packs, and foot rubs. My husband often carries me when I’m too weak to walk and he watches me struggle to do the most basic tasks sometimes. And yet, we find ourselves smiling at each other throughout the day; just making it through life together. He values, cherishes, and believes in me, and I humbly accept his care for me as I fight hardest to make it through each day. It’s a hard life, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. 💗

This is so important. I've struggled with chronic illness and pain for over twenty years. This hit so close to home that I couldn't finish listening the first time. 😢 People underestimate the emotional toll of chronic illness. ♥️

I love this song, especially having been diagnosed with Autonomic Dysautonomia (a cousin of POTS) among other things in the last few years, after struggling with it most of my life with and having no answers. Thank you, JJ. God Bless!

I seemed to have gotten the short end of the stick when it came to health- I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia at 17 then POTS (they often go together) at 32, ankylosing spondylitis at 20 something, breast cancer at 29, & this past year covid & then covid induced cardiomyopathy & congestive heart failure. I'm not even 40 & feel like I've fought several lifetime's worth of health issues & I'm tired, body & soul. Songs like this, & When I'm Gone, really do help. Thank you JJ Heller for what you do. You have a true talent!

I wish KZread had a heart emoji instead of just a thumbs up. We share a similar story with similar diagnoses and similar age progressions. Nothing like an opinion from someone on the internet (and I can't believe I'm about to be that person), but you might want your rheumatologist to rule out Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome / vascular EDS. It's comorbid with POTS and AS and is often mislabeled fibromyalgia. I'm guessing you're like me, feeling like you've spent half your life in medical facilities. COVID kicked my butt and POTS is affecting my vision so I can't drive. I need physical therapy four times a week. But with God's grace and the support of our loved ones, we press on. May 2021 be a gentle year for you.

I don't have an official diagnosis on paper I don't think because it was during a health crisis with non epileptic seizures from a medicine that was supposed to stop radiation side effects that my doctor mentioned it. I totally agree with you & God is bigger than anything I face & He is always with me!

Over the years I have been past from specialist to specialist. Its was always the same reaction, "🤷‍♀️", and past to the next. 14 doctors later, 1 blood pressure cuff for at home, a phone camra to document the data. I was finally referred for a tilt table test after being initially denied one. It was positive! Im hoping I can now start a medication to help my body to become more stabilized. I miss life but I refuse to let go ❤️

This video touched me probably more than any other video ever has! Then when I looked up what POTS syndrome is I felt like I had been struck by lightning! Thank God I found this video I have been suffering since October with these symptoms and no doctor can figure out what is going on! My appointment next week WE WILL be discussing the possibility of POTS. I had never heard of it. And no I'm not one that surfs the web thinking oh I have this or oh I have that. I was diagnosed with POTS in 2017. Today I was reflecting back on the times I had limitless energy and could hang out with my friends whenever I wanted. I saw this video on my feed and of course I clicked on it cause it was JJ Heller😉 When I read the intro, I started bawling. I know how she feels; I understand. I’ve been there; I’m there now. This was comforting and encouraging to watch and listen to, especially today when I was having such a hard time coping with this chronic illness. Life is hard and challenging and sometimes it just sucks, but don’t give up. Rest, gather your strength, and keep going. The best is yet to come.

My wife and I live this everyday, like you. It is lupus and sjogrens, not POTS but it is really the same. I can’t express the admiration I have for her, you and everyone else that struggle everyday yet find a way to persevere. I have POTS/Dysautonomia/Lupus and I've never identified to something as strongly as this song. So many tears. What an amazing man you have. You can see the strength of your bond and I'm so happy you have that kind of support. I also have someone special who gives me unconditional love and support. Lupus is horrible I have it. My ex couldn’t handle it and cheated on me my fiancée now is a saint and takes care of me. M

I have Dysautonomia/POTS as well it is life changing and can be terrifying to live with. It is a very dark and scary diagnosis. Thank you for shedding light on how painful it can be. It makes us potsies feel like we are not alone. My husband has carried me just like this on days when I was too weak to climb the stairs or put one foot in front of another. I love this message that no matter how bad you feel you have somebody that still believes in you. That just might be what it takes to motivate you to keep going. ❤

Once again JJ, you've managed to make me cry. It's a powerful song and the way the husband takes care of his wife like that, especially writing the notes to her, to encourage her... there's just something about that. They really do love each other and it's so cute!

I’ve had POTS too, Christina!!! I was extremely debilitated for years, and finally in April 2017 God told me to take up my mat and walk!! For me it was like when the angel dislocated Jacobs hip when they wrestled. He showed me he was in control! I trust him so much more now :)

You must know that "the Angel" from Genesis is the WORD/YHWH is Jesus Christ. (Genesis 16:7-13/Jeremiah 1:4-9/1 Kings 19:9-19........ I do NOT understand WHY we are appointed by Yeshua for suffering (Phil. 1:29), but i thank so much for our atonement through His blood (Acts 20:28) and for the Eternal Life (Acts 13:48) May Jesus heal and keep you in all! 🙏

I’ve recounted many times the ways your music has greatly impacted my life, and been a thematic soundtrack for me, since 2006, so I won’t repeat it all here. I do want to say, though, that last night, right after midnight EST, as soon as my husband and I watched the ball drop and sang Auld Lang Syne, I said “It’s past midnight! JJ’s first first-Friday song of 2021 should be out! Lo, and behold, it was. We rang in the new year with this song, and it couldn’t be more apropos, since POTS is one of the multiple chronic conditions I deal with daily, and my husband is my caregiver. Many of the scenes here are scenes we live out every. single. day. Thank you for writing these words, thank you for sharing this beautiful story, one so many are living but yet can’t find the words to express. JJ, you’ve done it again, which means God’s done it again. God bless you. I’ve listened to the song and watched the video multiple times by now, but it took me all day to figure out what I wanted to say. My words still feel inadequate, but to anyone out there reading this who needs to hear it: you’re not alone. There is hope. And I believe in you.💕

My husband stood by as twice doctors said they didn’t know if I would make it. When we got together he knew one day, I’d go from kinda sick to likely disabled. We’ve been together 13 years now, 9 married, and 3 kids later. I can’t even do much as pick up the messy living room floor, but he fights to pick up all of my slack. Thanks for this song.

I wish that I have someone like this. I have been facing addiction for 3 years. I was good for 4 months but three days ago I fell back wards and have not come to being good

What love is...? How could it go in a life? To be together.. to listen to one another.. keeping close together.. i believe you..that would go for a love with no last..and..that is the way to go along and getting around the beloved one... hm ..hm ..

as the mum of a 10 year old son with ongoing dhronic health issues since he has been a baby, this song touches a spot I can't explain. thanks JJHeller for putting into music and words what I can't always say.

As someone with a 3 chronic illnesses I can truly say. This is what we want! Just support as we go through this journey. It's the worst betrayal when your own body attacks itself. You lose everything. Pain takes over. Not just broken completely crushed. Especially for someone who is extremely independent you feel like you are letting everyone down. Especially yourself. If you have a loved one in this situation tell them you believe in them and they are more than their diease.

Thank you for this beautiful song! I have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis, so I know the hard journey you are on. Glad God gave you the give of song and words to encourage others on a hard road.

I doubt very may people will see this so I am willing to talk I am 14 years old and at the age of eight I was diagnosed with the worst versions of EDS, & POTS, My life is a constant battle that nobody else can see and I get made fun of when I can´t run or play games and its a constant struggle to not end my life so thank you
