My birth mom passed away when I was almost 5, and even though my dad remarried just a few months later, I didn’t have a close mother-daugher connection. Knowing that there is a mother out there who has such a tender love for her girls and getting to hear a sweet and tangible piece of that love has been so precious. Thank you for sharing that. ❤️

He's come so far, I'm super proud of him. Jesus' feelings and truths have finally started to reach him. He said he was saved when Jesus came to him in visions one night. What he shared, though, is not mine to tell. He even said some of it was just for him to know. God is so good, and He does answer prayer! I may have been waiting for this for years, but it's finally here. I can't help but see how God was preparing him for this all along. Just like He did for me. It's funny, sometimes you can't see Him working until you look back with a better perspective. He knows what He's doing. Never give up on praying for your loved ones!

@@mayasammane1878 The Lord is truly worthy of glory and honor! His Holy Spirit blesses me by allowing me the privilege to know Him and His ways better and better by His grace. It brings tears to my eyes, and He gently wipes them away. He is truly beyond comprehension. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try! :-) Our God really is an awe-some God, and all His ways are right. There is no greater honor nor any manner of reward better than to know Him more and to strengthen and tighten our relationship together. Our Father undoubtedly leads us into wisdom and love and security and peace and truth and contentment and affection when He reveals ever more to us what it really means to Him when He says, “My grace is sufficient for you.” There is none like Him, neither in the heavens nor the Earth. No, not among a single thing that has ever been made can one such as Him, the Eternal One who was and is and is to come and the _only_ One whose existence was not caused, be found. That God chose to make you and be your Father, the only flawless Father there ever could be. He knows how to Father His children well, and He shows no favoritism. His love is truly unconditional, unsearchable, and as perfect as all of His ways.

I needed to hear this, right now. My daughter is an addict, putting all of us who love her, through so much hell. God knew I was at the breaking point and needed some encouragement. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing these words and being His conduit of Hope.

"What if the thorn deep in my side is only there to help me see That though I never ask for it, the desert is God’s gift to me?" Best line in this song. I couldn't help but think of the Israelites lead out into the desert to receive God's blessings that they never really even realized they received. No earth shattering issues, just that life is hard. Thank you for being an encouragement through the real parts of life that no one really talks about.

I was feeling the same last year, when my husband was deployed, but God worked it so that I had time &energy to assist my mom through healing from a medical procedure. You won’t miss your prime...God’s time is your prime 😉I am also anxious about my age and having kiddos later too

You know I do you really love this song. There are other song where the references to God make me not really like some of your other songs. I'm an atheist. However I do really love you music JJ Heller. Religion does help people find the strength within them or if there is a God perhaps God gives it to them. Regardless of the religious context this song is really good and has a good message.

Rendgeno Akuma I’m a seeker and I’ve just found this artist. I was raised strict religious Christian...and was put off from it for many years, but always intrigued with the character of Jesus. I liked that he’d interact with those that the religious higher ups would look down on...he rebelled against the religiosity of the Pharisees and actually called them out. I do struggle to wrap my head around God of especially the Old Testament and why things are the way they are. I do like Philip Yancey’s books, like “what good is God” that allows the big questions. I wish I had a lightning bolt knowing...and I’ve definitely prayed. Buddhism has its appeal and I do believe there is a bigger being, purpose...just don’t know what that all is. Anyways, I liked your comment. I appreciate your openness. That’s awesome you’re not judgmental or too stuck, and that you’ll give a song like this a listen :) I was interacting for a brief while with a very rigid atheist...and it was every bit as hard to deal with as a stuck, myopic, fundamentalist Christian (which I honestly don’t think are anything like Christ!😬). I wish you well.
