Jiu is definitely a dad like figure since she always tells dad jokes. 😂

I once read another Insomnia 's explanation which i think is the best : they are a sitcom fami,y. Jiu is the cool and calm dad, SuA is the hyper mom, Siyeon is the eccentric aunt, Handong is the distant overseas cousin who is studying in Korea, Yoohyeon is the rebellious oldest sister, Dami the brilliant middle child, and Gahyeon the beloved baby.

I look at this as a family with two kids (Dami, Gahyeon), a cat (Handong), a dog (Yoohyeon), and a confused wolf that they somehow domesticated (Siyeon). Also Jiu is the dad by default because of all her dad jokes. 😂

Jiu is actually such a real one, a true ride-or-die. I've never once seen her be anything other than 100%, all in for her members. Jiu is definitely the parent- leader, dad jokes, tries to control the chaos and fails often. SuA does help to care for the younger members… when she is not aiding in the chaos. While Jiu and SuA would be the “parents” they can definitely be kids too: I.e “fake Maknae” Jiu and “Chaos enabler” SuA. Siyeon- the homebody child Handong- savage child Yoohyeon- problem child Dami- just wants to be in her room and read or something. Will help cook when it involves a grill. Gahyeon- boss baby

Sua's nagging can be misunderstood by some but she doesn't do that for the sake of annoying her members. She does it because she cares deeply and knows what's best for them. She expresses her concern and love for her members through actions. I found myself relating to her because I'm someone who sucks at expressing love through spoken words but I'm willing to roll up my sleeves to help my loved ones and be by their side. One more thing is that, despite her chaotic and loud energy, she has her quiet moments where she simply observes her members and just admires them. Ahh dreamcatcher is such a genuine group 🤧✨

Tbf, they're all grown-ups, so they should be able to take care of themselves and each other, but it's important to keep that inner child alive and kicking 😁 Love their "family feuds" SuA's nagging, JiU's jokes 😂 and YOO's a bit of a black 🐑, a troublemaker, heartbreaker fs 🤩
