If you want to listen to the original song, search "ilaya nila pozhigirathe" in youtube. This south Indian movie was released in 1982, just a year back when "Kalakar" movie released in 1983 so NO, the music was not original.

Research to be improved. He has to first acknowledge the original Music Director Ilayaraja and of course Kishore da, Kalyanji Anandji are great artistes
Exceptional singing by Kishore Kumar , brilliant guitar improvisation by Sunil Kaushik and excellent lyrics by Indivar. But the credit of Music goes to the great Illayaraja & not Kalyanji Anandji. I am surprised that even while making the video , you could not find it out.
