It's crazy though, because jiri had some really good moments in that fight. But than again, literally at the start of that fight periera already had jiris leg fucked up good. He turned jiri into a wrestler quick. It's obvious that periera is the better striker on the feet.

He's been like this since he was young, when they used to go around the villages and Jiří was looking for the best brawlers from the local discotheques, even then everyone knew about him that before he got into a fight, he always let his opponent give him a few blows to the head before he started fighting, that's crazy, but that's how Jiří is.

If Jiri blitzes Periera like he did here to Rakic, Alex may lose. This is how Jiri wins most of his fights is by offensive stand up blitzes.

Jiri doesn't blitz. He had a lot of success fighting from the range but he also ate a lot of leg kicks in the 1st poatan fight. He only got caught when he decided to get into the pocket where poatan's most lethal weapons can touch.

Jiri's unorthodox style worked against Rekic, but it won't work against Pereira. Rekic got caught with a right hand but he was beating up Jiri, to be fair. And I'm a fan of both these guys.

Commentary is awful. I recommend everyone to mute each and every UFC fight they watch and then watch it with the sound . Joe and DC are so stunned that they both beleive leg kicks do more damage the 90% of other strikes . Listen to this fight you will think Rakic controlled and was winning up until stoppage Mute it and you will clearly see Jiri controlled every second of the fight .

If rakic threw more punches he would have won.... but he didnt
