I find it irritating that people are comparing KaiOS phones to flagship smartphones like the iPhone and the Galaxy. The goal of these phones is not to compete with them, but to give internet and phone access to a new wave of users who couldn't afford internet-capable phones before, primarily in 3rd World countries like in South Asia and Africa. KaiOS phones like the Jio are some of the first basic phones to have 4G and WiFi connection instead of the old 2G connections. Most people buying these phones don't care about performance or games as long as it works reliably to get them on the internet.

Wow ! Ranjit, brilliant step by step explanation and demonstration. Your video certainly helped a non-techie like me.I bought JIO last month, did not use it much. I was kinda irritated understanding the basic features. I really enjoyed the video A quick clarification about the battery: I had charged the phone, I did not use it at all the whole day; however the battery had drained by the end of the day, I did check it for 2 days same!
