Dummy company ke naam se dongle (wireless broadband) licence liya auction me. Aur sarkar ne fir unko nominal fee (Rs 160 crore) leke 4G licence grant kar diya. Meanwhile baki sab companies ko hazaro crore pay karne pade for 4G licence in auction.

Bhai pehle jake dekh ke aa sabhi 1gb , 2gb per day plan me 100-150 ₹ increase kiye hai "3 months vale plans dekh" 666 ---> 799 1.5 gb per day (133₹ ) 719 ---> 859 2 gb per day (140₹) 999 ---> 1199 3 gb per day (200₹) Ab bolna

It's not that consumer demanded to provide free plans to Jio. If you provide reasonable pricing to consumer, they don't ask for free stuff. Current plans that you MUST pay sum amount to keep your sim running is hypocrisy. Not all consumers need unlimited calls/messages/data.

BSNL won't do that, cause it's a government entity, in many part even the employees don't want you to subscribe to their network, since it would mean more work for them without any incentive, it's a overall a very bad company, if it's administrator remains within government

For those who think BSNL is not going to roll 4G and 5G in country. I work at BSNL and BSNL has signed MOU with TCS to built 1lks towers. The moment it is done, 4G will be available in whole country. And then 5G requires the software update which BSNL already has now.

Jio brought fast and quality internet upto 5g to all Indians . You must be very young you dont remember the lag and connectivity issies of BSNL. govt owned companies are not efficient, that is why BSNL is running on 1000s pf crore loss, simply paid by govt from tax money

Problem BSNL ke saath nahin hai. Being a PSU, wo bahut sari cheezon ke liye government decisions pe nirbhar hai. In fact, BSNL ke pass 4G isliye nahi hai kyunki use na sirf bid karne se roka gaya, balki kaafi late se allot bhi hua, aur tab tak 5G aa chuka tha. Rahi baat staff aur portability ki, to uska reason ye hai ki board mein technical skill wale logon ki jagah politicians baithe hain jinko technology ka "T" bhi nahi pata, aur wo bahut zyada interfere karte hain. Of course, saari galti upper management ki nahin hai, but phir bhi, there is only so much ground staff can do. I work for the Income Tax Department. We all have BSNL SIM with 4G. Mine works really well, aur main videos ya movie dekhne ke liye use kart hoon. Koi issues nahi aate.

Bhai BSNL k doobne ka reason wo khud hai. (As per my experience )Poor service dete th office jao toh koi proper solution nahi, 1 cable break hone par poora din lag jaata tha, sim lene recharge k liye unke office jana koi third party store nahi na hi vendors. Ab online recharge hote h par ab bhala hum kyu hi uss ghatiya service par jaye. Jiss time BSNL irritate kar raha tha jio n ghar tak service di hai. Compete karne k liye atleast customer handling hi sudhar lete toh kam chal jata. As a customer mujhe company s matlab nahi, sasti aur achhi service s hai.

This was started when Sup. Court ordered to consumers to pay monthly recharges to keep sim active. It's continuously been observed that telecom companies are increasing rates without any authority.

Already ported. No issues for internet uptill now. Range is okayish.

BSNL provided Network to Chandrayaan 3. They clearly have the Tech. But you know Who Owns Govt. And what they want😁

I think BSNL employees should be forced to use only BSNL sims only then network will improve.

When government entity fails then blame should go to ruling government for poor management, but if govt entity succeed fir mitron ka bhala kaise joga. Mitron ka bhala bhi toh karna hai, rallies ke liye lakh ki bheed muft main toh ayegi nahi

Jab jio ne free diya tha tab modi ji ne khud ki tarif kiya tha. Ki sahi time mai privatized kar di Aaj jab jio ne recharge badh gaya to chuppi sadh liya. Modi ji - "Daro maat ek naya yug aa raha hai" 😂😂

Government is not allowing BSNL get 4g implementation or to upgrade to a seamless experience.

I am already using bsnl as secondary and it has many issues if there is any technical problem it takes 2-3 days and if any big issue it takes more than a week. Even sometimes 4G shifts to 2G automatically and didn't go back to 4G until u do anything manually.

BSNL be like kya hau mai to soya hu 😅😅

Same VI and Airtel could have been done by not raising price and get mkre customer. It's still jio monopoly. Govt and TRAI also must intervene to this.. their silence is suspicious

It wouldn't work that way, the telecom industry is an Oligopoly, it has a kinked demand curve, meaning Price hikes are elastic in nature but lowering prices is inelastic. We have studied this in the CPT economics of my CA course

LoL where were these people when airtel hike price first last time 😂

Reasons could be : 1. High CAC ( Marketing cost) 2. Operational cost, they already have less number of employees. And hiring process is really expensive and sluggish. 3. Even if they are able to counter first two, chances are, their infra would not be able to handle insurge of new subscriber so ultimately, they might need to increase infra as well. ( Another opex cost )

I bought 3 one year plan of jio Ans 3 voucher also

Government chhahti hai ki BSNL grow na kre taaki Airtel, Jio jaisi companies heavy price hike kre kyuki unko toh Pradhan Mantri Chanda Dhanda Yojna aka Electoral Bonds se paisa to mila hi hai.

It would have been amazing if Govt had invested in BSNL just like Reliance did for JIO to build the technology. Govt companies like BSNL if had the right investments would have prevented monopoly to what we are seeing today.

The problem is govt employees don't work much but they take heavy salary.
